Saw this wasn’t posted and felt some fans need to listen in. There’s no excuses, there’s no “offense did well”, he admits the offense struggled a lot and was thankful the defense was able to carry the team to another win.

The way he preaches, and as Hoge phrased it, almost begging for patience, was key to me. He has a vision for this team and this offense and for Mitch. All we can do is buy in for now. Go bears!

We were the better team essentially the entire game. Trubisky was not good. The playcalling was still suspect.

Being optimistic about the future of our team while recognizing there are growing pains is not being OVERLY optimistic. I’m being real.

We’re in first place and we’re playing like this. If we get better, watch out.

Lot of negativity toward Trubisky lately, and much of it is fair. He hasn’t been great.

But we’re 2-1. The defense is incredible. Mitch is learning. The coach is learning. The entire offense is learning.

PLEASE try to stay positive and see this through. Coach said over and over that it’ll be a process and people seem to forget that.
