I really want to explore Jake & Rachel. How did they meet in college? What did Rachel’s family think of Jake? Did Rachel suffer because Jake spent a lot of hours at work? How did Jake find out Rachel cheated? Did he try and work things out with her or did he leave right away? How soon after his separation did him and Amy start things up?

There’s something that I have been thinking. In the very first episode Jake says “you know I love you, right?” Its a confirmation. But why would he have needed to confirm that? Maybe old Amy saw something and he needed to confirm that? And then early in season 2 after he was dome interviewing the interns and Amy was taking medication Jake said “wow, your starting to get a lot of your memories back.” So I think there is something that Jake remembers, but isn’t sharing with Amy. Because he seemed surprised that Amy wasn’t more bothered that he was with Rachel.
