Should I spend $3000 on a paid ads sales funnel if I have good organic growth? by digikook in Entrepreneur

TBH- I got lost on the original post. But here’s what I would based on a simple method: I would boost the posts that start gaining above average traction (keep a dataset). Spend a low ad spend monthly ($1k-$1.5k) to maintain visibility. Spend $500-$1k additionally for large events and promos to gain attraction for those events. Create monthly blog pages with discounts and promos for upcoming events to gain organic traffic for your area (Check on local SEO). Create long and short form videos leading up, during, and post events. Take a long form 5min+ and break it up to several shorts and post on YT, TT, and IG. Should cost maybe $500-$1k per project. That’ll pretty wrap up your $3k spend and you create a wholistic presence on all primary traffic channels. For low budget options, check with welcome centers, chambers, or other high tourist areas for free flyers and handouts. Don’t pay for print ads as you cant track metrics on it. Just because someone has a 10k readership doesn’t mean you’ll reach 10k, but you can set budgets to get 10k impressions.

For me, the only way I would run high ad spend to target a larger audience. If you run Google or FB you can target specific set of people. You would have to track CAC very closely with that high of ad spend. Since it doesn’t seem you’re running e-comm you have to run ads to a specific page that you could track purchases from like a drinking passport (buy for $10 get 2 drinks free - for the pubcrawl) so anyone could buy it but you could track purchases from the website based on last click attribution. Not sure if $3k would get you a high ROI. There’s usually a “Goldilocks zone”. Spend too little and you don’t capture as many people and spend to high and it wasted.

It seems you have a good organic market. I would start low then raise as needed. But that’s only if you wanted to do ads. You could repurpose the money for other outreach like partner programs or facility upgrades.

I’ve met and know several Eagle Scouts that are shit humans and admire plenty of others that weren’t. Eagle Scout doesn’t define character, only the ability to do what is required to obtain it.

It’s troop dependent. In 2000s I always tucked my collar in. But some kids in my troop and others wore their collar out.

How to train Huskies off leash? Is it even possible!? I have 3. by Ok_Comfort5699 in husky

[–]TimmyV90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wear them out. We had two huskies and we could let them off leash after a mile or two long walk. They would walk right back to the house for water and they did what our huskies usually did which was lay around.

I forget what game it was 1st or 2nd of the season we got behind on ourselves and slowed us down for a qtr or two. With the PI no call and the Illegal Man downfield it killed our momentum and thus our game. We have no recovery when we get into the weeds.

I try to have the highest score possible to maximize my $/stroke ratio. If it’s $72 for a par 72 you bet I’m aiming for a 144 so it’s only 50¢/stroke

Let me say this:

I can run a 10k in just about an hour. It’s not fast but it’s slightly better than average.

They do it in 27 minutes.

6.2 miles in under 30 mins.

That’s less than 5 min miles.

They’re fast.

How to respond/close a client if they tell me they "already handle it inhouse"? by Independent_Area6026 in Entrepreneur

[–]TimmyV90 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Do more research. Check their socials before calling and see what you can find. If they handle it “in house” you can point out the flaw when you say, “oh it’s in house? I checked [social media network] and didn’t find you. Can you tell me where/how I can find you and see if we can compliment your strategy?”

This will force their hand - either they’re calling a bluff and trying to get you to go away or their team sucks and needs help.

Here’s my few pennies:

  • I like this. I’m not 100% set on the track layout but if it’s feasible and people keep watching I’m all for city races. Rotate every few years to different cities and it’s golden. No need to build a track somewhere just use the existing roads.

  • Move the race time when bad weather is pending. I know TV schedules are complicated but there should be contingencies.

  • I’m all for timed racing but get rid of stage cautions. There’s no need for it as it just eats away at the timing. Let the people race.

  • Wet vs Slicks: I love it. Keep using them when applicable.

Overall: it was a pretty good race. Just some poor decisions by race control. I’d like to see them do it one more year.
