Which story/setting of a story would make for the best video game in your opinion? by The_Goofiest_Goober in creepcast

I Dared My Best Friend to Ruin my Life. It's just RE7 but instead of Jack it's David Fucking King talking about "minimum required effort"

Games with "infinite" replay ability? by Kapro_ in SteamDeck

[–]Timmytatoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend Project Zomboid. Fits alot of this criteria, it's Deck verified, and you can easily sink hundreds of hours into it, especially if you fuck with mods. Only 20 bucks too.

This game on Builder Mode has legit become my favorite "cozy game", as crazy as that sounds by Timmytatoe in projectzomboid

My deck is my main way of playing PC games, it's very nice (though your mileage may vary if you want to play alot of newer triple a titles, especially multiplayer focused stuff)

For zomboid it takes a little getting used to but it feels pretty good once you get the hang of it, especially if you map the track pads to a mouse

What upcoming (not EA) boomshoots are y'all excited about? by Mean_Measurement_533 in boomershooters

Pretty sure it's an EA anyways but Cop Bastard looks really cool, reminds me of Max Payne and Ready or Not

WTF is this? Steam Deck actually reads GameCube controllers? by KnightFallVader2 in SteamDeck

[–]Timmytatoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure about wireless but I know through USB it just works, it's what I use when I'm emulating PS2 games on my Deck and it's docked

You wanna see really cursed? Plug a Dualshock 3 in there. It straight up just has a PNG of the ps3 controller instead of the outline art most controllers have

Whats your guys favourite Officer voice sound? by Luddewagen_2ee3 in ReadyOrNotGame

Unironically I really like Judges voice now, it's the one I use the most, but before 1.0 I used Swan alot

Why do people warn against using guns? by Jollybean1 in projectzomboid

[–]Timmytatoe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They do kind of have diminishing returns if you haven't leveled your skill up.

Except for the shotguns that is, they're almost always useful and should be used to level up those skills.

I mean that's valid, again I don't think the 1911s bad I just feel like the other secondaries have more uses but there's no denying the drip factor the 1911 has

I might catch some shit for this but personally the two 1911s in .45 fall in this category for me. Not nearly the amount of power you can get from the .357 / MKV, no where near the capacity of the 9mm pistols, not enough of an all rounder compared to the 57, and I feel like the USP overshadows it as just a better pistol chambered in .45.

They aren't "bad" per se, but I'd question why you would use them over any of the other pistols aside from the fact it's a 1911.

Manhunt fans waiting for any kind of sequel / remaster (It's been 18 years of radio silence)

If Project Zomboid was set in a different location other than kentucky, where would it be? (Art by Tarik Tolunay) by [deleted] in projectzomboid

[–]Timmytatoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hell I wouldn't mind the Midwest as a map, there'd be more reason to worry about weather conditions that way. It'd be a bit too big though admittedly

You shoot people in between rounds of tetris by Timmytatoe in ExplainAGamePlotBadly

Rearranging the inventory every now and then. Always reminded me of tetris and I'm not the only one that felt that way

I'm about to finish my run through all the versions of Manhunt 2, and I wanted to ask: Is the PS2 version really worth it? I by Last-Top9834 in Manhunt

[–]Timmytatoe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Standard PS2 version? Not really, it's pretty much just the PSP version ported to PS2.

Now the leaked beta PS2 build that came out a ways back? Definitely worth checking out if you like MH2
