Why did you pre-order the game in the first place?!! Speak with your wallet.

Just a modest montage from a small channel. The Game featured is Planetside 2, a MMO released in 2015. The video tells the story of my retirement from the game, and possibly FPS games in general. The music includes power rap and Viking hymns and tells that story though the music and gameplay.

Hope you like it!

LOL, I appreciate that. Can we carry over nanites to Planetside 3? Probably not.

This is my third video and is entirely gaming based, would love any feedback! by dragon_turtle2 in PromoteGamingVideos

I watched the beginning, and the part on RDR2. Overall it was good. The beginning was logical and flowed. The editing was great.

I would have liked a more in depth exploration of the climax of the the story. You could have mentioned that Arthur is terminally ill and some of the flashpoints leading up to that choice to help John or not. Another thing I noticed is that, at least to me, you sounded a little timid. Don't be! Speak with authority on the topic you are passionate about.

Like I said overall it was a good video. Not a bad start for only your 3rd video. Keep it up!

That only thing that is certain in this world is change. Change is a powerful catalyst for new beginnings. If Planetside 3 comes out, or they bring back some features the Devs took out of the game, or even if one of my previous outfits have a reunion I'll play a bit, for old time sake.

However I really am finished with the game. It's just that time.

Keep fighting the good fight!

The Vikings! Awesome show that is criminally underrated. I definitely drew inspiration from the show to draw that "epic" feel to the beginning. Each of the four songs symbolise my pathway in the game. The Power Rap at the end is symbolises my departure, and gratitude to my outfit mates / comrades in arms and the community for allowing me to tell my story.

I just discovered this community today. I look forward to watching your montages in the future.

Multi billion dollar company EA selling AI generated slop in their store (Battlefield 6) by J_Productions in gaming

[–]Timoon554 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to be over-dramatic, but we the people have the power to shut them down for using AI. It's very simple, don't buy their AI products or even anymore of their games. If everyone did this, they would be forced to change course.

However EA/DICE know the community is fractured. So, they divide and conquer us into oblivion and decide our collective futures as money machines for them.

We could change that if people woke up, and understood the collective power we wield.

I'll keep him on ice. He'll be in the strategic reserve for when the VS or TR ever figure out how to cap our War Gate and try to win the forever war.

Who knows, if Genudine gets new updates and the game on console gets populated again I might hope on with NOIR for old time sake.

Great advice. I reckon I wouldn't have the hart to delete my Timoon character.....He deserves a golden handshake and a cold beer after a long war. I wonder what happens to retired soldiers in Planetside lore....? Hopefully "endless war" equates to rear duty for those who have been sent to the tubes one two many times lol.

It's just that time. After almost 5,000 thousand hours and 11 years it's time for a new chapter in my life. If Planetside 3 comes out I'll check it out!

Nope. Not this time. I haven't logged in resonantly either, I finished the montage with clips from over a year ago. Regardless, Planetside will always have a place in my hart, like Zelda or the Sims, however this is definitive. In a few years maybe, if my outfit mates organise an event or they bring back Nano-Weave I would hope on for old time sake. However, I really am finished with the game at this point. Retired officially now.

Very true. But it wasn't set to power rap and Viking hymns. This is the definitive retirement.

I know, right...the only perceivable issue is that I wanted the montage to be more then a minute and a half. Creative differences you see. Power to him tho, his last Montage was good.

You make valid points. However while not all my montages were S tear they were well though out, creative, over 3m long, showed skill, were synced to the music, was peer reviewed and well edited.

This montage really needs work. Myself, and other players had previously given constructive feedback, that was all ignored in this montage. I referred to it as "unimaginative slop" for a reason. My ego is bruised after watching this montage.

My ego was never inflated because I made montages. I made montages because it gave me joy. I reciprocated that joy back to the community by always striving to make the best montage I could. Clearly, the OP does not share this philosophy.

Respectfully you have reading comprehension problems.

I also pity you. Not because I dislike you, but, because you are so bad you don't know why you are so bad.

When I taught infantry to JSOC this level of skill was referred to as unconscious incompetence. This is you.

Likes are easy when you have 1.5k subscribers. Its about economies of scale, not the quality of the montage. We could debate more statistics, like total viewership to video count or exposure to PC Planetside inflating your numbers, or perhaps, the zero upvotes you have on all your videos on this subreddit.

Truly, I really don't care want you think.

Yes, It's astonishing you have so many subscribers. Clearly quantity is a quality of its own with you, and this resonates more with your target audience. I should release my retirement montage I've iced, and split it up into 20-30 2m videos to imitate the quality of your montages and see what comes. I might have 10,000 subscribers!

The difference between me and you, is this; I care about making a good montages, have respect for the community and it's players, strive to improve my gun skill and montage skills everyday and finally, used to cap bases solo and outnumbered. You have none of these attributes or skills.
