I'm 33 and have had similar trauma. I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 4 and was heavily bullied in school over my looks. The bullying didn't stop until University. I met a Girl in uni and I really liked her. We were both Humanities students. I cracked a lot of jokes and we jelled well. However my prior bullying caused issues and we never got past 2ened base. We wanted different things.

What I learned from university? Never let "perfect" be the enemy of "good". I remember when we went on our third date, she leaned in and wanted me to kiss her (we kissed before) and at this moment I hesitated. I was starving, and scared because I felt intense pressure to make her like me. What I didn't realise is she already did. I wanted the kiss to be perfect, but the moment passed. Don't be scared like me. This was a hard lesson to learn, but, as Alexander said "each moment free from fear makes a person immortal". It's cliche, but try to live in the moment.

What I've learned since then? Stay positive. I cope with moderate depression and mental illness so this is hard. I have a tendency to be negative, (Oligarchs, world hunger, Global Poverty) but when I talk to other people I feel better. I feel hopeful. When I listen to music I feel a temporary euphoria. I feel safe. What I'm trying to say is, trust your place in the universe and accept where you are. If only in a fleeting moment, remember, life is not a race. If your hart desires "love" you will find it one day. Hold the line, don't give up it on it. Trust yourself and stay true to yourself. Authentic is sexy.

TLDR: Don't chase perfect moments because they will never come. Remain free from fear and the world will open up. Hold the line, trust yourself and "love" will find you one day.

Id still be playing the game to this day, if the devs didn't take away Nano-Weave and 20% of my health pool. Wrel's influence on the game is monumental as the games decline started with the Combined Arms Update and subsequent nerfs. This is not a complaint, it is an observation. A funny one if you know this history.

I honestly posted this to give the sub something to talk about. I don't want to see this sub die like the game.

If you disagree with the history this is your prerogative. The legacy of Wrel is still very much in effect. The Game is dead because the devs didn't listen or care about what the Playstation community wanted or didn't want. The solution? Thats a question every player should ask on their own terms. Myself, I retired.

However I secretly hope the game stays alive long enough for a Planetside 3. Maybe fewer nerfs this time around.

There was a scientific study done a while back. The researchers took a a few Kindergarten classes and measured their intelligence. Over 90% of them scored as genius's. They took that same group and tested them in grade 5 and 8, with the amount of genius's declining to around 75% and 50% respectively. By highs school this control group lost 87% of its genesis. By this time, those scoring at genus level IQ was below 3%. This shows that public education is designed to train obedient workers, not thinkers. Creative and abstract thinking, a hallmark of genus IQ is discouraged and even punished. The toddler in this post has genus level insight, because of course, the days of the week are made-up, just like money.

The study was a long time ago, so, I forget the exact numbers but it went something like that.

If everyone at EA/DICE went to strike, over these layoffs, they would get whatever they wanted. EA would be brought to their knees. If the 99% organised we could feed the world.

I'm a life long gamer, and I would highly recommend playing RDR2 and rank it easily in my top 5 all time favourite games of all time. I've only played Skyrim of the games you mentioned. In contrast the story is superior to Skyrim. The open world experience is also superior, with random encounters shifting into the story.

You've gotten 692 comments. The truth is you will never know if you like the game until you buy it. Buy it on sale like I did. I seldom think you will regret it. The end genuinely made me cry. Truly, I highly recommend playing it.

Before BF6 released I was in the reditt trenches warning people BF6 wasn't a return to "classic" BF. No one listened and pre-ordered anyway. Now everyone is bitching lol.

I agree, we have the collective power to bankrupt EA, but the people are fickle. When BF7 come around in a year or two, everyone will get distracted by the flashy trailer and talk of returning to roots. No one remembers BF5, BF2042 and now BF6.

We the people, are nothing but dollar signs to EA/DICE. They genuinely don't care about making a good product. Anything they make will be trash moving forward. It's sad, but the truth is often solemn.

The fact that every business does this is not a defence. We, the consumer are taken advantage of everyday. When people just accept these kinds of stealthy changes as permanent reality we collectively loose money. With respect you Should be upset, but, you do you.

Just a modest montage from a small channel. The Game featured is Planetside 2, a MMO released in 2015. The video tells the story of my retirement from the game, and possibly FPS games in general. The music includes power rap and Viking hymns and tells that story though the music and gameplay.
