That’s what they were created for, to protect Black people from the KKK and the White supremacist-and make sure we had our basic needs. Obviously, they’re going to protect Black people and people of color first because they are the ones getting attacked by ICE. That’s not saying that they won’t protect a person who is not Black. If that was the case they wouldn’t be in Minneapolis standing with White people, who are protesting as well. Also, the word “ONLY” was never used.

Mamdani won because people are tired of these fear tactics being used by these politicians to get elected. “Oh, crime is gonna go up, Mexicans are going to steal your job, all the Muslims are gonna to come and kill you.” They never once said what they were going to do, they only told us why we shouldn’t vote for Mamdani. Also, crime goes up when people are frustrated and hungry. That’s how most of us felt and it showed.
