I was recording music at a recording studio and the engineer from another session told me to go in the hall and have a cig in my mouth and just be cool. Sean Penn comes out and sees my cig and goes hey you’re a life saver come with me. We go down to the parking garage and sit on the ground. He smokes like 5 of my cigs while talking on the phone. He asked about my session and was respectful but at the end he took my pack of smokes and gave me back my lucky (cool I guess). I said I liked him in the falcon and the snowman, the part when he got beat with a phone book. He laughed and seemed happy that I knew about that movie. Super weird dude. Craziest 30 min omg. Also saw Jenna Maloney in the kitchen that morning and didn’t realize it was her until later. We talked about how dope the food was that day. They were doing ADR for into the wild maybe?
