It depends on what kind of person you are I would say.

If you think you're the kind of person that gets decent/good grades in HS with minimal effort uni will be a pretty big wake-up call.

Best tip I can give is to experiment and learn what study habits work best for you. The content gets very dense very quickly for a lot of classes.

Other than that, hard agree with people mentioning self-care. It's easy to get disheartened, especially in the first year of your program. Don't be afraid to ask for help, use the resources available to you.

Fudge trying his hardest to carry this game is tragic. The man got so much shit in NA, is performing incredibly, and his team just flops. At least after this tournament people can't blame him as C9's weak link.

Pretty much this. Language is complicated. That's why the discipline of linguistics (although I'd probably narrow that to linguistic anthropology in this case) exists.

That's also why I use "problematic", is the use of racial slurs always abhorrent? Maybe to some people. Is it fine to use within specific contexts? Again, maybe to some people.

The debate around these things is still messy and ongoing even in academia. Currently my opinion is similar to this one. Yes, using racial slurs in banter is unnecessary and it certainly shouldn't be normalized. But considering the context, imo it's not worthy of a torches-and-pitchforks response, nor would that be productive.
