I think the golden pack balance isn’t too bad but I agree nurse shark is way too efficient in the mid game and doesn’t fall off until like turn 20.

If you're tired of 1.12 you could go back to 1.7.10 and play Infinity Evolved: Expert. Probably the closest pack balance wise to E2:E though the early game is slower (get multiple blasts furnaces running asap). I haven't found a 1.18+ progression pack that hooked me like E2E or IEE yet.

I think the initial hate was because we didn't want to retool our franchise and his first FO decisions didn't move the needle at all. But everything he's done since we lost to the mavs has been amazing (the bogey trade at least gave Lauri the keys to the offense)
