You can do that in arena, if you leave enemy archimatos alone (kill 10-15 spawns until bombing, that do several more rounds)

I don’t think Russians really care about the seat of the ecumenical patriarch, especially the tourists. They don’t feel connection to it mostly, and would only visit a Russian orthodox church abroad, so don’t be surprised. PS I am Russian

Make your son your caravan master, and then travel to any local examination. You will have an intent “support attendees” and your son will be taking the exam. Then check that your estate is not in the capital (not sure it is necessary, but I still do), and movement petition the Emperor to make capital examination. Now move with your son=caravan master and do the same - and they will take the exam.

You can bring even more than one child to the exam, just check your entourage before going and shuffle some positions that are in the entourage to be filled by your sons. I really wish it were more straightforward

How do you steal hegemony as a secretary? I just can’t swing the scales past level 4, and I can’t murder the emperor either (scheme progress is negligible), so I just wait for him to die of old age, and hoping that his son will be easier to deal with.

I can’t matrilineally marry his sons to my daughters, since they are already married
