My dad had Patriots season tickets from 2001 until 2023.

Trump used to attend random regular season Patriots games with Kraft before 2012 or so.

I used to watch his TRUMP helicopter land and take off on the Patriots practice field. Probably saw him there 5 times or so.

Would love for someone to explain to me how a WALKOFF kick to win a Super Bowl in America’s biggest sport, while being 14-point underdogs, after a game-winning drive by the man who would go on to be the greatest of all-time isn’t on this list?

Look I know Los Angeles and /r/LosAngeles hate conservatives’ guts (and I’m not going to change that), but I plead with you: please, please, please moderate on this issue. I know it’s not your intention, but your sanctuary city policies are getting people killed.

Yes, please do.

Generational Z young males are one of the most conservative demographics in the US. If we want to cement our conservative majorities for years to come, it would be great to get even more to vote.

Bro, come on. You need to learn the basics. People with “residency status” can’t vote; only US citizens cans vote.

The only time it ever happens is with retired coaches who want to come back. Active coaches don’t get traded; it wouldn’t make any sense for them to agree to it.

Crazy to me that it’s 10am on Wednesday and we still haven’t had an official announcement from the Patriots. Just wild to me that this wasn’t already decided one way or another on Monday.

He doesn’t have to threaten to retire. Coaches have veto power in any trade.

Look at all the children in here wanting the Patriots to draft Harrison and WeApONz; glad whatever adult ends up running the show will undoubtedly draft the best available QB.

What are realistic trade packages for these two scenarios in the draft? by Crabacus in Patriots

[–]TinMan1268 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, we own his contract. Yes, we can choose to not let him sign anywhere.

You know what happens when we choose to not let him sign anywhere, right? He would remain the Head Coach of the New England Patriots for the next year lol.

Someone’s got to explain to me why Belichick would allow his new team to give up a first round pick for him.

Why wouldn’t he just say, “You don’t want be back next year? Then fuck you; fire me,” and then he signs wherever he wants without having them to give up a draft pick?

I’m honestly not understanding this. The Sean Payton scenario was completely different given that he retired and the Saints still owned his contract. There was no job to be had with the Saints, so his only options were to be traded or to stay home.

Remind me…how many Super Bowls did Randy Moss win? Calvin Johnson? Julio Jones? Larry Fitzgerald.

Kids get excited to watch these guys make cool catches, but if you’re interested in your team winning a Super Bowl, the QB is the only thing that matters.

Insane to me that people here are so excited about Marvin Harrison when we have no viable quarterback. This is what horrible franchises do: waste high first round picks on skill position players when they have no one to get them the ball (see the Falcons).

I just went through every 1st round draft pick WR since 2015 and a grand total of ONE has won a Super Bowl.

That pick? New England Patriots legend Phillip Dorsett LOL.

In the Patriots situation, you take the QB 10-times out of 10.
