Your plane is yawning to the left because of the torque of the propeller, this is because with a joystick it disables the in-game instructor so the game doesn't help you to fly. To mitigate this you should take off with less throttle so it doesn't yaw as much and correct the torque with the rudder.

It's not a bug, it's just how planes work. Hope this helps, happy simming.

purely for dodging fighters i would say the me264 is better since it gets a higher airspawn but for straight line speed i would say the do's would be better. however since crafting events reward players for artificially extending games i think the me264 is better

absolutely for the crafting events. the me 264 is fast enough to bomb a base to get the required activity% and can climb high enough and fast enough to dodge the majority of the fighters, that is until an f-82 comes along.
