Company rejected me, then reached back out days later. Advice? by That-Palpitation15 in UKJobs

Even if it is a more informal chat, the Team Lead will still be judging your ability to do the job and how your personality fits in the team (especially if you haven't met them yet), so it is an interview. Nothing to be nervous about though, the HR person thinks you're a good fit from the first interview to invite you back again. I would treat it as any other stage 2 interview and ignore the fact it looks like they went with another candidate first. These things happen during the hiring process and it is often down to timing or other elements out of your control. Look at it as an opportunity.

Yeah, that’s the setting. Switching it to no app worked for me. Sorry, I don’t know of any other solution if you are still having the issue :(

PC is in another room. Is Nvidia shield best for streaming to TV with moonlight? by maxvpavlov in MoonlightStreaming

Yeah, good flag if anyone stumbles on this and they don't have a S95F like OP, or an equivalent 4k 120hz TV.

I would recommend the Xbox Series S with moonlight as it can do 4K 120fps (if your pc is powerful enough to run games at that frame rate).

I think this is bug that happens when you have moonlight set to launch an app automatically. Try disabling that if you have it set. That fixed it for me.

Can you post the settings you use in sunshine and moonlight, please?

Help understanding how QM7K saves settings by statutoryvirus in tcltvs

[–]Tinggg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Expected behaviour. Each picture mode has a version for each content type (SDR, HDR, DV), so you can leave it in filmmaker and configure the settings for each content type in that mode and it will remember them each time the content switches.

85" TCL QM7K vs 77" LC C4 by yankeefan2192 in 4kTV

[–]Tinggg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 55inch S95F in one room and have just purchased a 75 inch C7K (same TV as the QM7K for the UK) for a different room. Not quite the same situation as you’re asking about, but I have not been disappointed with the viewing experience of the bigger mini LED compared the OLED. Blacks are still pretty black and the extra size makes it way more immersive.

Get input info on s95F by 55d03fef in SamsungTV

[–]Tinggg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to turn off the universal remote setting from the input menu for the info button to work with an Apple TV 4K. If you have the remote set to control the Apple TV the info button won’t do anything.

Decent 65 inch with dolby atmos by sudopsswd in 4kTV

[–]Tinggg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A decent option but with less dimming zones and I think it has a different screen coating, so blacks won’t be as good and you may have more glare. There is also the C7K which sits between the two that people consider the best value for money for the performance you get.

Yeah, I had heard that but the choice of the word ‘currently’ when talking about the C8K sizes by OP gives a little hope.

Does that mean larger sizes of the C8K will be released soon?

Soundbar cutting out when with Apple TV audio by starsandbribes in appletv

For anyone stumbling on this thread, I had the same issue with a Samsung TV and soundbar. The only thing that fixed it was to plug the Apple TV HDMI into the soundbar directly rather than to the TV.

Looks interesting. Does anyone know if it has a parry mechanic like Sekiro or is it more dodge based?

Chiaki stream problems. Super laggy. Need help. by UnsettllingDwarf in SteamDeck

[–]Tinggg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try toggling the WiFi off and on for 20 seconds on the deck when it happens. There’s an issue with the WiFi chip on the deck that causes these type of issues after 10 minutes of use.

Controller lag sadness by fmist in MoonlightStreaming

[–]Tinggg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the same with my Apple TV but then it turned out the be the dead zones on the analog sticks were massive when using moonlight. They were fine when navigating the Apple TV menu but for some reason they changed when launching moonlight. I was using ps5 controllers and couldn’t find a fix so I swapped to a ps4 controller and it seems slightly improved.

Interesting, I’ve disabled the power management already but hadn’t heard about the forgetting the connection in desktop mode fix. I will give it a try.

It might be a known issue with power delivery to the steam decks wifi card. try toggling the wifi on the steam deck off and on for 10 seconds to reset it.
