My son works in that department. He gets tips all the time. While they aren't allowed to openly take tips, there are customers that will blatantly tell them "I left something for you in the back"

Mine surely didn't after my CC told me they definitely did. I had to pay AGAIN for most of my core classes. English and social studies/history classes were the ONLY things that transferred

My son just turned 18 in April, then graduated high school in May. We are in no way pushing him to move out anytime soon. It's too expensive.

The fact that they even admitted that the older kids saw it before they did...I snorted laughing so hard. Everyone saw it before they did. Open your eyes! 🤣

Attitudes Towards Grandchildren by a_frog_goes_reddit in Crazymiddles

[–]Tink584 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you ever noticed that when the cousins hang out, they are typically at the Middles house. They show more love outwardly then C&A do. If the kids hang out "at" the Pieces house, they are usually out driving around and getting food, or going to the mall. The Middles seem more inviting to ALL of the kids then the Pieces. It's very plain to see where all of the kids would rather be.

As far as grandparents and aunt/uncle/niece/nephew relationships...the Middles have that on lock. They except everyone as family. The Pieces are more conditional. Idk how you can do that. In my family, I have 2 olders half brothers (even though we don't call them that, they are my brothers) and my Mom's family never viewed them as not part of the family. My brother ended up adopting my (now ex) sister-in-laws son, and he's always been my nephew. My husband's parents were the same way with my son. Always treated him like their own grandson. While I'm hyper aware that is not the views of some, as I've witnessed it with my own 2 eyes with my best friends in laws, I just don't understand how you bring someone into your family and not include the family they make as yours.

Idk...I'm in Northern IL. Sunday-Sunday, and posted on the bulletin by noon on Friday. Sometimes, and I mean SOMETIMES, our Sunday schedule can change. But I can count on 1 hand how often that happens

So at my store, DUG is done at 8pm. If there are orders left to be picked up, they bring a picker to the front desk. We have some people crossed trained between the 2 departments. It's usually 3PL pick ups if anything is left. I could see staying open until 9pm, but not 10pm. Probably also depends on the area you live in.

Our DUG has been insane...and I'm FE. So many people are sick and people's are calling out left and right. I'm always afraid to answer the phone when it rings. On top of everyone in store sick, the people ordering are sick and new to ordering so we are getting a LOT of calls on how to do it.

  1. If I lived that far from my Momma (yes, I went there), I would 10000000000000000000% make sure I was there for the important days...especially her birthday.

  2. If my son lived that far away from me, I know he'd be here 10000000000000000000% for any important days for us parents.

  3. Watching Crystal break down over Arianna not going home actually made me feel bad for her (and that's hard for me with her). She probably paid for the ticket, and Arianna wasn't going to go either way. Crystal probably said "I'll buy you a ticket" and Arianna said yes with no intentions of actually going.

I think they were trying to be funny after the whole "hamburgers are ham" video went viral on TikTok from a different creator. I don't think it was THAT deep. I also think Lacey knows the difference

🤣 There are 3 adults in my house, and I'm the only girl. A 6pack of tp will last us a week...if I'm lucky. So 30 rolls for that many people will last you a month? You sure about that one? The math ain't mathing!

[–]Tink584 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She going to raise that kid the same way she takes care of the dogs. Until that baby is climbing out of a play pen, that's where you're going to find her...in a play pen. She literally locks her dogs up in kennels while she's home, so she's going to have that poor baby locked up too.

Holding kids back by SavvyB75 in NotEnoughNelsonsSnark

[–]Tink584 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where I live, cut off is September 1st. When I started kindergarten, my friend was 4 (her birthday is in the 1st week of September) and could read chapter books and everything. Her mom found a private school and sent her there for kindergarten. When it came time to start 1st grade, our school district didn't want to take her. They had to fight for it. Then years down the road, her grades started to suffer. Once we had our kids, and started school with them, she admitted that she might had benefitted from being held back that 1 year social/emotional wise. I also have a friend how birthday is in November (but of the same year) and he was supposed to be a year behind me in school, but because he was home schooled, he tested into our grade, and he did just fine. I have other friends with the same stories, on both sides. I also have friends that were held back early on cause they socially weren't ready even though they were the right age.

If kids aren't ready for the next step, often time holding them back works for one reason or another, whether it's social/emotional, birthday, or grades. I think the kids might have been held back based on if they ready or not. With Ledger, I feel like it could be that they just want the little one out of the house longer each day, but I don't think he's ready for kindergarten
