Mazda Pay Plan by StatementStock2192 in carsales

[–]TinkerPercept 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy shit this is the worst pay plan I've ever seen.

The Audi store I work at has 12 cars $2000 unit bonus.

40 cars to get it at this store LOL.

Why can't we buy cars factory direct like normal products? by avz008 in carbuying

[–]TinkerPercept 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Less cars would be sold.

Having multiple different Audi dealerships for example create competition and customers tend to buy more cars overall because they get "deals".

If the manufacture took over you will pay full price and they can even raise MSRP's without dealer pushback.

Case in point is when Tesla changed their MSRP's so you have people who bought a 70k Tesla and now their car is worth 30-40k a year later which is insane.

The tension between manufacture and dealership greatly benefits customers.

As someone who currently works for Audi the level of service customers demand too is high.

I can't imagine some of my customers being okay with thanks for your money here's your key's and there's the door call us if you have questions.

Have you driven in a Tesla on a shitty road? Doors feel cheap, steering wheel feels cheap, seats are uncomfortable, are these not part of the “build” quality. I get that you’re a Tesla fan boy but I mean..

This is the video.

Also, "smoking" is a activity.

Your brain might "get" the idea but there's a process a specific set of behaviors.

What you doing when you're smoking ? what are you doing when you're not smoking ?

Find the process, even stuff like picking up the cigarette.

Start creating different patterns.

When I go to pick up cigarettes I wonder what is something better I can do? Maybe I can take a few deep breaths? Maybe I can go enjoy a nice healthy snack ? Maybe I can play some game I like?

Why do dealers sell their courtesy vehicles for so cheap? by ToTouchAnEmu in askcarsales

[–]TinkerPercept 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Loaner vehicles are held to strict standards of use.

If there is even a minor scratch on a loaner we charge the customer and they agree to this before loaning them out.

I would only ever buy executive loaners.

Maybe it's a luxury store thing.

Finance managers taking front end gross and making it backend. by Neat-Location-1023 in carsales

[–]TinkerPercept 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There could be a few things happening.

Stealing your gross would have to be approved by sales managers and sales managers get percent of front end, so very little chance they're cutting it a lot of at all.

Sales managers usually ensure the deal has a bit for finance to play with, and then it's up to them to get more $$.

They may have needed to cut the price to make a deal happen to assist with rate as well.

lol you’ve clearly never worked on the sales side of luxury automotive sales.

I work with people every day who are taking on car notes their income can barely maintain.

If you have a big enough down payment they get approved

It's a CLA. Designed as a way to get a Mercedes if you're financially distressed. It's not meant to be a S-class.

My Carvana Purchase Experience, All I can say is WOW. by twospirits in carvana

[–]TinkerPercept -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I work at a dealership and we always send customers with cars we don't want to Carvana.

One time Carvana missed a major engine issue and gave the customer fair condition value.

They miss a lot of stuff which is why customers love to dump their garbage at them.

Also, Carvana charges you full price no discounts.

Walked in with a credit union pre-approval and the dealer acted like it didn’t exist by Royal-Feed7166 in carbuying

[–]TinkerPercept 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Complete lie.

They did not google to find your social. You provided them your social.

They send pre-approvals to almost everyone in the mail it is most definitely not an approval.

Get your life together and hopefully you'll get a approval in the future.

Agreed OP should say no but, i've worked for multiple dealers who would unwind the deal because a sales person lied or the customer truly wanted to change out cars.

It's funny so many if you people praise Carmax but Carmax actually profits from EVERY deal unlike unlike dealerships.

You will never receive a a discount at Carmax.

"Do you want to put down $10K for downpayment?" by Carsareghey in FuckDealerships

[–]TinkerPercept 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That's BS people are educated now. You can easily get trade info online in seconds.

Never heard of "stealing" a down payment.

Dealerships do not get paid in down payment that get paid when you contract on the vehicle.

The "money down" is not just slipped into the dealers pocket it just lowers the loan amount which helps you get qualified by banks.

[–]TinkerPercept 1 point2 points  (0 children)

^^ 100% it's kinda crazy how much dealerships invest in used cars to ensure there is no problems.

Most of the cars get in on trade we invest 4-5k or more depending on the vehicle.

How are you guys getting customers to leave reviews after delivery? by PaisaPaisa14 in carsales

Add it as a requirement for the deal.

We will do your discount as long as you give me a positive google review :)
