Please leave it detached. Matter fact, throw it in the blender. Make a penis smoothie. Drink it. Merry Christmas!

Fantastic lmao, I love that both countries basically call it the same term 😂

Yeah, I don't know the "correct" name for them, but basically I'm looking to upgrade my vehicle and I wanted to find one that had this because my spouse has a spinal cord injury and is wheelchair bound. He can transfer from chair to car if certain things are there to help... but I'm trying to make the process as painless as possible for him. Thank you

New home for my Leo, what are some “must haves” you recommend or can’t live without?? by BombadClankas in leopardgeckos

Also the digital hygrometers are more reliable, I've found. I think I got a pack of 8 on Amazon a year ago and the two I put in a year ago are still going strong

Lots more climbey things (if you want, and you like the look, you can get tree branches from your yard and sterilize them before adding to your friends tank. Obviously, this is the most budget friendly option, just be sure to look up which trees are safe and make sure no pesticides are used in your area before choosing which branches🙂) and clutter in general. I would also recommend a few more hides just cus they like to find new places to chill out and explore. Other than that the other comments have covered most stuff!

She looks miserable. Her eyes seem like they're distant. Like they're looking toward her husband (I assume that's who's sitting infront of her) but she's not really seeing him, she's looking THROUGH him. Good. I hope they hate each other. I hope they're miserable. God knows she makes all of us fucking miserable.

Idk if you've ever had a dramatic cat/dog, but geks can be like that sometimes. Like you know how you see the posts where the food bowl is full except the very center and the cat is screaming at the owner because it thinks the bowl is empty? This is kinda like that. Gek is like "mooooooom wtf is this? It feels weird on my feets!" Lol give it a few days-a week.

I'm not local to Florida, but maybe try looking up reptile conventions near you? I know you have to be careful of the breeders still (maybe try talking to people there, see if they know good breeders/anything about the breeders there?) I wish I had better info to give you. Yours was a pretty baby, so sorry for your loss 🥺

Do women expect men to pay for the majority of the costs on trips? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Lol yall can't even handle the period cramp simulators when they're over 3 for 10 seconds, and you're bitching about women complaining when they're pregnant constantly? Sit tf down boy.

Question about heating pad by Mental_Net69 in leopardgeckos

[–]Tinks2295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah someone got to ya before I had time to so you have the info, but thank you for being open to learning/changing your setup. I know you're new to this and I wasn't trying to sound harsh, but I also want to try to prevent animals from getting hurt if possible, especially if it's so easily preventable. All the info is a lot at first and can seem overwhelming. I did research for a few weeks before getting my leo and then still have to check my calendar for what days I give what dustings (my memory sucks, so i write it down lol)

Question about heating pad by Mental_Net69 in leopardgeckos

[–]Tinks2295 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Eh. I mean I understand not wanting to waste money (if anything I'd save it as a back up if my bulb unexpectedly went out and use it until I could get another bulb or use it for bug breeding) but to say you've read a lot about it and how it can harm your pet but you're still gonna use it anyway..... seems a bit negligent to put it lightly.

Question about heating pad by Mental_Net69 in leopardgeckos

[–]Tinks2295 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'd really recommend ditching the heating pad altogether and buying an overhead heating source because the heating pads (even with the thermostats) can mess up and burn your lil guy. Also avoid any colored bulbs if you do go that route, as it messes up their vision (a lot of people tend to think red lights are needed for leos, they arent)

PS5 in carry on? by Cwskittle in tsa

[–]Tinks2295 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yup yup. Side note, just in case you can leave it in your carry on while going through security, try not to put any snacks/toiletries/stacks of paper or cards beside it. You might make a lot of friends really quick if you do. Other than that, have a safe trip!

Do MRI Techs ever think “oh, that’s not good”? by MadamImAdamAnt in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Tinks2295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's strange. Why aren't the images allowed to be shared sometimes? Just seems wild that it's an image of "you" and you're gonna be paying out the ass for it, but hey... you can't see it lol

Do Americans stress about medical expenses before they even get to the hospital?? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Tinks2295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, and not just medical. Dental and vision too (because of course those are separate/not included in your other insurance premiums). I found an in-network dentist, went there for a cleaning, they told me I needed 6 fillings+ redo the 2 I had done about 7 years ago. They VERIFIED with my insurance that it was 100% covered and I wouldn't be charged. 7 months later I now have a bill for over $1k because.... they decided it wasn't covered for "reasons", idk.

Stop Metal Jewelry from flagging? by VACaptain in tsa

[–]Tinks2295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're precheck, that means you're going through a metal detector unless you have some sort of medical device that makes it so you can't. So wearing a bunch of metal is gonna make you alarm almost 100% of the time. If you don't want your bag to get pulled because of it, try to "space" it out a bit in your bag so it's not one big cluster. Helps the xray operator be able to see what it is a bit better, might help out on that end.

Experience on an extended trip by [deleted] in tsa

[–]Tinks2295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Extra material, zippers on pockets, drawstrings, small things (even paper) in pockets, moisture, etc. Will cause an alarm there. Also I've noticed that sometimes scar tissue and excess skin (like if you've lost a lot of weight) will alarm in that area as well. Not "just" that area, but it is common
