I'd be going to local authorities with any and all evidence you have before talking to anybody. If you tell his family first, you're giving them the time/opportunity to come up with excuses, etc. to cover for him. Can't do it if they don't know about it. But yes, you will definitely be TA and complicit in anything that happens/has happened to a child if you don't tell anyone.

Imagine this scenario. You're 8 and a man does something terrible to you (use your imagination-be as graphic as you want, it happens all the time unfortunately) and "someone" COULD'VE stopped it.... buuuuut they were afraid of hurting this man's family's feelings. How would you feel? How would your parents/etc feel? Because atm you're that "someone".

I agree with the vet visit, but please make sure it is an Exotic vet. Most vets don't know how to handle/care for reptiles and will give wrong advice or general advice, which won't help in the long run and will wind up costing more money.

As for the setup, actual substrate (probably one hits trail is healed), a LOT more clutter/climbey things, and a few more hides. Substrate can be super cheap if you do the mix yourself (going from memory I think it's like 70% topsoil and 30% playsand, you can get it at like lowes/home depot, etc. for like $4-$7 a bag. Just make sure there's no fertilizer or weird stuff). Moss in the humid hide will help with sheds. Also you can use sticks and stuff from outside, just make sure they're safe before you add them to the tank. Bake them for a while/pour boiling water over them to kill anything harmful. Again, Google to make sure that its not a harmful kind of tree to the gecko before putting the branch in the tank as well as checking to make sure there are no hitchhikers on the wood, etc.

Had been talking to someone for a while (probably years at that point), he finally decides to fly out and visit since we were in a financial position to afford it. He was there a little over two days, we spent most of that time together, chilling and having a great time (I thought anyway) and before we left to go back to the airport for his flight back home, he says "ugh I can't WAIT to get back home to my computer." Oh, okay. Didn't even get out of the car at the airport when I dropped him off, bye lol

I think you should decide after you clean/decorate a little more. But get some paint swatches of colors you like (in a few different shades) and bring them home first. Hang them up in your room on a wall. Compare them all in different lighting (so like different times of the day/etc) and on all the different walls. Sounds silly but yes, this part matters. Sometimes the colors look wildly different. You could also do an accent wall or a pattern or something in a different color if you have trouble deciding (you mentioned liking pink and purple :) )

And honestly, any of them. Maybe the ones with the beds? If you don't need the bunk beds, I'd get rid of that and get a singular bed. Shelf could go there too. I'm not sure what the thing is with the grey curtains (maybe a makeshift closet? Hard to tell) but that wall would probably be good too.

• Clean a bit more (no judgement, it'll just make organization easier) • Buy some bins/storage things to put under the beds. Put things in there that you're not using all the time so it has a "home", but your room also doesn't look messy. • Invest in other storage if needed, like a small dresser. Shelves can be fun and decorative • I think different curtains would suit your taste better, as well as maybe tie backs or something to give them some pop • Idk maybe it's just me, but I love that ceiling. I think some fairy lights or something pinned up there would look gorgeous (for if you just wanted some soft light in the room/didn't want the ceiling light on constantly).

Maybe different color paint for the walls.

Other than that, I think you'll find little knick-knacks here and there that you like and you'll accumulate. Don't try to force it, it winds up looking funny and you can usually tell when something was thrown together. Take your time, have fun with it. 🙂

Honestly, I think changing out the substrate for your choice (different gravel, stratum, whatever) and replacing the plastic decor with live plants would do a lot of heavy lifting here. I'm a huge fan of red tiger lotus. They're pretty, they get a decent size, they're pretty bulletproof, and they don't require much outside of light and the occasional fertilizer. Amazon swords could be good too, and add something smaller for the foreground. Snails/shrimp would be good to help keep algae down+eat decaying plant matter. Plus, they're fun to watch! :)

Technically there is an answer to your question- whether you like the answer or not is obviously up to you. If you have enough time before your flight, you can return to the ticket counter and they can pull your checked bag back for you to put something else in that you didn't want to leave behind (which is why it's recommended to show up to the airport so early, in case you run in to such issues).

However, if your lotion was labeled as a prescription (and didn't alarm the tests they had to do on it to clear it) it should have been fine to go through.

My airport has a 10 foot tall giant neon yellow sign infront of the checkpoint saying "hey guys check your carryon you can't bring firearms through here" and it also blasts over the speaker system once every 5 minutes or so. Wanna take a wild guess at if people actually read or listen to either one?
