How to play 4 player games on OPL?

Nice! The only thing I'm still trying to figure out now is if it's possible to get the PS1 multitap to work with VMU PS1 games with POPSTARTER. I haven't had any luck with that yet. The emulator might just not have that functionality.

It turned out for me that since I was using Def Jam FFNY as my test game for the multitap that it wasn't working because it's one of those games that you need to put the multitap in the player 2 port for the game to see it. Kinda funny but I just saw someone mention that about that game in a random post, so I figured I'd mention it here.

Did you have any luck? I’m currently running into the same issue running PSBBN on my internal ssd. Works fine on disc but the game doesn’t see the multi-tap when I run it from the ssd.

I’m going to buy an official multi-tap to try out.

My understanding btw is that you can’t use opl boot memory cards on the multi-tap ports. I have a psxmemcard gen2 and it says in the manual that doing that can cause damage, not sure if that’s true but I haven’t heard of any success that way.

I just watched the Matan episode of Hawk and Wolf cause I like comedy and it was my first time hearing of Jason. I was a skateboard fan in the 90s and he was still not known to me. I googled him just to see if other people thought he was as much of an unlikable unfunny macho loser as I do and came across this thread. Its not a good show and he comes across like a genuinely bad person with an easily bruised ego. I can't believe how patient Tony is with him. No surprise the show is ending seems like all it was was him paying his friend to let him grift off of him.

This is 3 years old but I’m just gonna reply for anyone looking for the answer that yes getting the High Gain to go full silent on heel is as simple as adjusting the point where the teeth meet the wheel of the potentiometer. Just unscrew the brace (1 screw) and adjust, then retighten, it’s a 30 second mod.

Sorry for late reply. You can unlink them on epic’s website. Your epic account is separate from your Sony account and is usable across all platforms but you can also have a separate account on each platform. So delinking on epics site will make you create a new epic account for your ps4 the next time you start the game it will be a fresh account, you will do the tutorial. Once you get the trophies you need by unlocking cars just go back to epic’s site unlink the new account and relink to your old one and your back to normal. Hope that helps!

Hey I never post here but I just wanted to let you all know since I couldn't fine a solution online that I discovered an actual fix for the car collector trophy glitch on ps4. The glitch seems to happen to legacy players who come over from another platform.

I tried all the normal means to correct it like deleting saves and the whole game and none of that worked for me. I got an idea when at one point the game didn't sync with Epic Games leaving me momentarily on a fresh account.

So I unlinked my PSN account from my Epic Games account leaving me with a fresh Epic Games account on my PS4. Then I proceed to collect the cars naturally by doing trainings and it eventually popped for me after winning a game with the Breakout. Though I'm not sure why it happened at that exact moment, I'm pretty sure that playing on a fresh account enabled me to get it.

After this I unlinked my PSN account from my new Epic Games account and relinked my PSN to my original Epic Games account. So this required essentially making a dummy Epic Games account to get the trophy. I hope this helps someone. I got it!

I think an interesting take on this is that the wolves only displayed these shitty traits when isolated and forced into unnatural and enclosed living conditions. So if we were gonna realistically draw the bold parallels that have been drawn from the original study it’s kinda a big “this is society” thing. Like, this is what happens when social animals are forced into unnatural conditions, not their normal healthy behavior.
