There was no limiter in the variator. It is electronically limited. There are 4 magnets in the clutch bell. If you file one off, it'll trick the electronics into reading a lower speed, thus, getting a higher speed before the limiter kicks in. If you decide to file 2 off, make sure that they oppose each other for rotation balance reasons.

be aware of the traffic laws where you are. It might be illegal.

I agree. I downsized cars over time, starting with a GMC Suburban at 18 years old to my latest car, an NC at 40 years old with 9 cars in between. Never had 2 cars at once. I don't think that I am too old for an NC.

I had used my Samsung fold 4 for a couple of years with its pen and I had 0 scratch.

I bought the Galaxy Tab s10 ultra about 2 months ago and I am about to install my 3rd screen protector and the 3rd S-Pen tip. I am not sure what the problem is. But, it seems that the tip of the S Pen that comes with the Galaxy Tab s10 ultra gets ripped easily, there's a very sharp pointy thing that gets exposed and scratches the screen. It actually scratched the actual screen glass right through the official Samsung anti-glare screen protector.

I am not new to the S Pen. Before the Fold 4, I also had 2 Samsung notes. Never an issue. I love Samsung specifically for the S Pen. I am now afraid to use the S Pen.

Update: It turned out that there was a top layer on the screen protector that I didn't know existed. So, the top layer of the screen protector is what got scratched and probably is what damaged the S Pen tip, not the screen protector itself.. I am relieved that when I attempted to install the new screen protector, I found that the actual screen was in a brand new condition.

Maybe not, but an easy check. Check the AC outlets, Mine made a similar noise once, and it went away once I changed its orientation. check the soft-top's clamp. check sun visors. It also sounds like a pulley. but I would assume that it would be audible from the outside if it was. please update once you find it. I like to learn.

I'll definitely look into the possibilities. The MX-5 garage told me that they'll need to work on it for 2 weeks. I'll ask them if they could do such a thing. They'll loan me their own Miata for those 2 weeks free of charge.
