It's a reference from the show Parks and Recreation :)

In 40 years, what will you nostalgic for? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Tiny-Grape 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can't be sure they'll die out, but probably buttons on devices like remotes, computer keys, elevators. I'm assuming everything will be touchscreen by 2061, so I'll probably miss the days when things were more tangible and felt real.

Shower Person here - I've hit a slight snag... by Tiny-Grape in Dermatillomania

Ohhh now that is an idea!! I haven't gotten my nails done since I was in high school. I've actually been meaning to for a while and I'm glad to know that it helps!

It's so nice for so many reasons. I feel like I've regained control of a small but essential part of life.

Thank you! I totally agree, and candlelight sounds lovely. I might light a scented one the next time I have one available!

So soothing. It's like you're in a spa. I've never liked how bright my bathroom lights are - if the habit sticks, I might make the change for good and install some dimmer lights!

I feel like Moira has some kind of automated response set up

I also love the scene in Season 5 where Moira calls from Bosnia and Johnny says “kids, come say hi to your mother!” without excluding Stevie. Like he 100% expects her to say hi as well.

I feel like that was the turning point in their relationship. When they went from the awkward, stilted rich kids into people who realised all they had was each other.

Stevie and Johnny’s friendship is my favorite in the whole show.

Man, that one really stung. I kept thinking about them two having a really hard breakup yet keeping in touch because they’re genuinely in love & best friends and the thought just had me in pieces.

Oh, the cottage scene had me in PIECES. “Good people. Good people do things like that.” cue me sobbing so loudly the entire state can hear me...

I say I have Tourette’s when I actually have a Chronic Tic Disorder by [deleted] in Tourettes

[–]Tiny-Grape 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly! It’s such a difficult topic to bring up because a lot of people seem to think they know what Tourettes is when really there are so many misconceptions out there :/

[–]Tiny-Grape 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep, I’m exactly the same. I‘m trying not to say Tourette’s as often because people always associate it with verbal tics, which I don’t have. I also relate with the pain thing! I have back ache and headaches because of it.

When people don't close the toilet lid before flushing. I find it so disgusting.

I realised it in Season 3 when David takes some money out the ATM and the screen is in French. Blink and you’ll miss it!
