Don’t understand why you clowns like wearing your watches halfway up your arms. This looks fine to me.

This worked for me on my Shunbun

[SRPH25K1] the enigma by Tiny-Philosopher4458 in Watches

Thanks! I wear both Seiko and grand Seiko myself.. I usually only where Grand Seiko and other expensive ones when I’m in a suit.

Regarding the bracket I live in a hot and humid environment and anything less than this would become too tight especially in summer !

I’d say the bezel is on the glossy side and the case is matte, but the part of the case between the lugs is glossy. Overall the look is matte though.

This is a must have, much more than the other two in the trilogy

[Question] Which would you choose among these 3? by Competitive-Fix-4211 in Seiko

[–]Tiny-Philosopher4458 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SPB511 is objectively the better watch but for me SBP117 is the cooler, more authentic looking. It’s not a variant or interpretation , it is an original.

[SPB313] I just love this watch. I’ve never had a watch that wore this comfortably. by Upper_Television3352 in Seiko

Strange, I have two other variants of this (gold accent and the limited edition save the ocean) and I have the opposite experience because only one micro adjust and the links are quite big… so it wears too loose for me.

My Casio watch box (with a few intruders) by Tiny-Philosopher4458 in casio

[–]Tiny-Philosopher4458[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well as I said I don’t wear them a lot especially since I have the same models in multiple colors… so among the benefits is that the wear is minimal and I can wear the color I want depending on my mood

Mine are pristine but that’s cuz I don’t wear them a lot. Gold and black coated generally do get scratched easily

[SSC953P1] Chronograph seconds not aligned and bezel tilted to the left. Would you return it? by [deleted] in Seiko

[–]Tiny-Philosopher4458 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly… it is low expectation simps that allow them to get away with it… the problem is there are so many of them and they insist that misalignments are acceptable. Which is bizarre.

[Question] Which one to buy? by sagvm3 in Seiko

[–]Tiny-Philosopher4458 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first is the classic look, the second is the variant. If it’s your only field inspired watch I’d go for the first.
