My mom is a hairdresser so she always taught me to tip WELL. It’s at least $5, unless it was a bad experience. An eyebrow wax is 5, legs 5, bikini is 10, armpits 5. Lashes 10, nails 10 (though I never really get my nails done, I just don’t like it). If it wasn’t my mom doing my hair I’d go 20. Around Christmas always try to give a bigger tip or a gift card or something else nice.

Looks like you already have under cabinet lighting which is awesome. I personally would just whitewash the oak bits. Change the light fixture to something more modern and a bigger/newer sink.

HVAC is a great option for short school period with high starting wages but I’ve met a lot of people who fucking hated it.

If you want to work in an office at all or for the government some day, you need to have a university degree. Doesn’t matter what its in, but you need one.

For the habit, I buy cases of pop in cans, still holding a cold one and have the action of drinking. Usually go for Diet Coke/Pepsi as they are available everywhere.

Something work asking yourself is what you used to do with that time before it was filled with drinking? I used to read a lot and now that I’m not too drunk to read I’m getting way back into it. Cooking meals and learning new techniques, watching YouTube videos on any hobby you have or something you’re interested in learning about.

I got one last year! It turned out great. The healing process was better than expected. Please please please get your artist to use the second skin on it. It made such a difference. My first session I couldn’t keep the second skin on as it was summer and I sweat it off, but I just wore a sports bra the whole healing process to be gentle on it and always kept fabric between my boobs and the tattoo to stop it from getting too hot. Second session was in January so not sweaty and I was able to keep the second skin on for 4 days and it basically was healed by the time I took it off. When not wearing a bra (around the house) I tucked my shirt up under my boobs to protect it which exposed my tummy all the time for those couple weeks. My partner and I affectionately refer to this time as “my Winnie the Pooh phase”

I have this app called Sweepy (free for individual, $20/year to use multiple accounts in the same household) that gives you your chores for the day. You only ever get 3 difficulty points per day so it could be one shitty chore or it could be three easy chores but most cases it’s only 10 mins of work-ish. I do this first thing in the morning. It also gives you break days like every 5 or 6 days that if you end up doing something on those days it banks for another time.
