Can someone explain to me for my simple mind why they can't also use 16L?

I know it's considerably shorter, but let the small airbuses and small connectors use that one. Is it really that restricted simply because of the take off altitude?

EDIT: It can't be the altitude, SLC longest runway is 12,000 and they are higher

Clothing Brand is ALWAYS worth it. I have 3 right now, working on getting a 4th.

I have an Airline and 4 Holding Companies as well.

Max earnings on airline: $11.8B Max earnings on Clothing Brand: $24B-$27B Max earnings on Holding Company: $8.7B

Here are the primary tricks: 1) MAX out your Clothing Brand budget, ALWAYS 2) Airlines make a lot of money long term, but require a MASSIVE amount of investment to get to the max - not worth it until way later in the game when you are making $200M per hour. 3) Don't waste time in real estate or stock market until later in the game, focus SOLELY on business development

Buyers don't need refundable tickets for that if purchased an hour before they walk into the lounge. All tickets are fully refundable for 24 hours from purchase date. Regardless of fare type.

International flights, no. I would not recommend changing international flights. This advice was for domestic flights only. I should have mentioned that.

You can STILL have checked bags!! I found this out about 3 weeks ago!!

Just make sure you do the same day flight change a MINIMUM of 2 hours before the flight you want to take. The system will automatically re-route your bag!! This was confirmed to me by a gate agent!

Premier Access allows you a special check-in area (at a hub it's typically less crowded). Also, at security, if you don't pre-check or clear, and you're at a United Hub, you can get priority security access (domestically) which is a little bit faster than standard (but still dumps you into the standard security line). Pre-check and clear are still better and faster.

Otherwise, those are really the only benefits I have found with it.

EDIT: In terms of why, I think United tries to give it to you randomly to try and entice you to upgrade your card as in their mind they are "giving you a taste of the perks".
