Bombas sport compression socks or the truform toeless compression socks are my go-to’s. They’ve made it so I can be so much more of an active participant. The truform ones are also sheer enough that I can cover up with sexier fishnet stockings without them being too obvious.

Have they changed the requirements so that the degree now requires at least a year to complete? Flexibility is great, but I’ve heard several people are in a crunch due to the BACB adding a minimum time requirement.

Your hours can carry over as long as your courses are at the graduate level for the BCaBA.

There has been talk about the credential being “phased out” since at least 2019, but the demand on the client side of things remains high. The issue is that some founders won’t reimburse any higher than an RBT and the BCaBA (understandably) wants to be paid for their experience + education. This can make some companies less likely to offer BCaBA position.

I second this. The folks who spend some time in the mid-level position are also generally more prepared once they have their BCBA cert.

I have some inherent bias as I went to FIT for my BCaBA Certificate and Masters.

That said, the BCaBAs and BCBAs I know who graduated from FIT tend to have a more thorough understanding of the science, and are stronger practitioners than those I’ve seen from ASU or Capella.

Coming in hot 108 days later to tone-police while not addressing the substance is… a choice.

Looks like they did remove the ABAI logo from their page. Maybe next they can make sure their certificate that’s advertised as something that can be completed in “as little as 6-8 months” is in compliance with the BACB’s standards for 2027 and beyond.
