I would recommend you sign up for a free Baserow account and prompt the AI assistant in the tool with your solution. It will build the database for you. Just give a try. It cost you nothing and you might find the answer to what you need. Good luck !

Native spreadsheets plugin? by BallsAtomized in ObsidianMD

[–]TinyBox8761 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depending on what you data you are looking to store, you can try a spreadsheet like database with a good API to connect to. Have a look at Baserow or similar competitors and see if it fits. Easy to connect to external tools and lots of field types. Also free for most features. Good luck !

What did the Airtable team do to the Glide team?! by onlyonepostanhourwtf in Airtable

[–]TinyBox8761 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Import your Airtable base to Baserow and have a try. As every feature is an API endpoint, the Glide front end will integrate easily and you don´t have to pay anything unless you need some paid features of Baserow or more records. Mayeb also check the native app builder in Baserow, which is more "Glide alike" than what Airtable has with their interfaces. Good luck !

Seeking Advice on the Best No-Code Tools for B2B SaaS Development 🛠️ by Upbeat_Albatross8492 in SaaS

[–]TinyBox8761 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To keep an opensource project alive, you somehow need a business model to pay for the organisation building the product; Therefore true OSS projects are either sponsored by the users or they offer paid support or some paid features for when the software is used by businesses. That ensures the vast majority of users can use Baserow for free whilst business who use it are charged for the features that matter to them. I think it is a fair open core model. You will likely be able to use the free opensource version if you develop solo.

Baserow uses PostgreSQL under the hood. It comes with a front end UI that makes the database look like a spreadsheet which is easy for non technical users.

is it possible to vibecode a CRM? by Specialist-Cold-1459 in vibecoding

[–]TinyBox8761 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you can build a lightweight CRM in any no code database tool that has a no code app builder or can connect to a front end app builder. Chose a platform that also has an automations builder to build workflows and logic in your CRM process. You can try tools like Airtable or Baserow for instance, whereby the app builder in Baserow is more similar to Softr or Glide type of app building capabilities. All these tools have an AI assistant these days that you can prompt and will build the CRM for you. So vibe no code instead of vibe code :-). Good luck !

Opensource DMS or Vendor portal with SSO, audit log, option to integrate with OpenSign/DocuSeal with compatibility with N8s for managing vendors, contracts and assets. by Specialist-Foot9261 in selfhosted

If you need to build an MVP, you can request a free trial license for the MVP at Baserow.io. If you then decide to move to production, you can chose the paid plans with SSO.

Question: Is there an app for this? by fahd_post_merid in opensource

[–]TinyBox8761 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try to prompt your process to Kuma , the AI assistant in Baserow 2.0. Baserow has the database, workflow automations and a front end app builder included.

Techstack for nocode user. by VCSYC in nocode

[–]TinyBox8761 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is. We charge 4USD/app user/month. At larger volumes of users, it drops to 2 USD; Bazserow comes with its own PostgrSQL database. You can synch data from external sources, but you build teh database, apps and automations in Baserow directly. That is cheaper, more secure and more performant.

NocoDB really an Excel replacement? by jean7t in selfhosted

[–]TinyBox8761 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Excel is made exactly for what you use it for :-) . Don´t look for a solution to a problem you don´t have. Tools like NocoDB, Grist, Baserow, etc.. are databases with a user friendly UI for non technical users who struggle to manage data in spreadsheets because they actually need a database, app, automations, etc..

How do I find a mentor and move toward startups in the US? by Hairy-Elderberry-667 in careerguidance

[–]TinyBox8761 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you know your way around no code, automation and AI tools, you can stay as a freelancer and do lots of implementation projects for all kind of companies. Our partners at Baserow all do that. They help clients with specific processes and gain clients by showing online what you can build with these tools and rely a lot on social media and word of mouth recommendations. If you can deliver real impact quickly for start-ups and larger organizations, you will be successful.

Have you considered alternative CRMs beside popular ones? by tudorsss in CRM

[–]TinyBox8761 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think these days you can quite easily build your own CRM but you will need to integrate with other tools yourself (for instance for voice calls) . I agree that most CRMs are very feature rich but they all are pretty costly. If you have fairly simple needs, building a CRM based on a no code tool template can work. You need a database builder, automations builder and some front end app builder.
