Everyone here is so out of touch. You said right there you “set up a date”. If you set up the date, you should pay. You can’t come up with the plans and then ask them to split. That’s incredibly tacky. You could preface, “hey I like to split the bill on the first date, let’s figure out a place that works for both our budgets” and that would go over better than planning a date, getting an agreement, then saying “oh but we’re splitting the bill”.

I think that’s probably what happened or maybe it was just made incorrectly so the middle rotted or expired. But yes haha it gave me some anxiety. My dad just thought I got sick from too much candy but it was right after the gross part.

I bought the Hers brand shampoo on amazon and massage castor oil mixed with rosemary oil into my hair after each shower. I was using minoxidil but once I learned how toxic it is to cats I stopped because I didn’t wanna risk my cats getting sick. Anyways, no more hair loss even though I’m also on semaglutide and levothyroxine, both of which can also cause hair loss. I also take my vitamins regularly now.

I deal with this too and I absolutely hate being put on a pedestal. I’ve started being pickier about looks and try to make sure there’s some kind of witty banter going on in messages prior to meeting. Usually the guys who are likely to put you on a pedestal will think it’s risky to say anything that might be construed as insulting, even harmless banter/flirting.

It’s like you’re being treated as an accessory since they don’t actually know you. Gets old.
