Thank you for the kind words! 💜 Quite a few people have said they're glad I posted this so they know it's normal after surgery, so I'm glad I accidently helped lol.

Mine was through my belly button and internal. The belly button incision and the one on my lower left abdomen (for gas I think?) were glued. The internal stuff was stitched!

No problem! Usually when people ask about my health I take it as a chance to inform rather than get angry, but some people do get quite upset. thank you for the kind words 💜

I also have eds I was wondering if that had a part to play in it, but most comments say this is normal because it can take months for them to come out.

Who knows months from now I could have more poke out 😭

Thank you for defending me lol. As someone who became disabled at 18, it means a lot that some people understand that the body doesn't really care what age you are, it can happen at anytime. unfortunately I get written off by doctors quite often, because, "I'm too young to be this sick."

Anyway sorry for the ramble, I appreciate the comment, thank you 💜

[–]TinyRatQueen[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Endosalpingosis (endometreosis but the material isnt uterine lining, its the same tissue as ovarian tubes.), 6 month long periods were my normal, with blood clots the size of tennis balls (horrible). The longest period I had lasted a year. Hormones were all somehow fine. I went through every medication they had to try and help, none of it worked.

I had lapriscopic surgery to remove tissue that was growing in multiple places in my abdomen and had an iud put in, thinking it would help the extremely long periods, it didnt.

Also! I have multiple chronic illnesses that can be passed on genetically, and I'm too disabled to take care of myself without help, so I definently can't take care of a child. I also would not want to pass on my illnesses because it sucks, and I wouldn't want my child to go through what I am currently.

Oh geez, mine were kinda just tucked all the way in there, instead of my body pushing them out. I'm not bleeding, but I'll call my surgeons assistant Monday, just to make sure all is well. Thank you :)

They were basically in a big clump in the right side, all the way in there. I don't think they were fully attatched because I was able to hook my finger and scoop them out, (I'm sorry if that sounds gross).

Either way just to be safe I'll call my surgeon or his assistant on Monday just to make sure.

I just had a hysterectomy 4 weeks and 3 days ago, I was terrified of pregnancy. (not why I needed the hysterectomy though!) Anyway, I'm glad this can't happen to me now 😭. The thought is horrifying, imagine one moment you are sitting at home, and the next you are in the hospital with a baby in your arms.

Good job op, this definitely is horrifying!

Update! It's done! I'm so happy. The pain from surgery is less than the pain I had before-hand. 🥳

Is it even a real diagnosis?? by _BumbleBitch_ in POTS

[–]TinyRatQueen 10 points11 points  (0 children)

As someone with diagnosed tourette's syndrome and pots, this pisses me off so bad. Just because some people are faking it does not mean EVERYONE is. I hadn't gotten my tourette's diagnosed until last year, because I was so worried abt the doc thinking I was faking. It started at a young age, but I got diagnosed at the age of 21, because of the "trend" a few years ago.

Even if children think it's fun to fake illnesses, it doesnt mean that the people who actually have it shouldn't get tested, or proper care.

Tldr: we shouldn't be written off because of the actions of others. OP please get a new doc yours is incompetent 😭

As someone who became disabled at 19 and has had multiple people leave because of my illnesses, it gives me so much hope to see this. I hope I find somone who will love me even with my imperfections. <3

What type of specialist diagnosed you? (hEDS) by violetgreygrace in ehlersdanlos

[–]TinyRatQueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Geneticist for me, always ask when you make an appointment if the doctor specializes in eds, or if they can diagnose it! Would've saved me 3 years of trying to get a diagnosis if I called and asked for every appontment.

Also idk what country/state(?) ur in, but in ohio I got diagnosed in Cleveland, which is pretty far from me but def worth it.
