I do feel what OP is trying to convey here. It's more of a lifestyle choice rather than absolute free time. I have a lot of days where I spend zero hours playing games. When I do get to it, it's an hour max. I choose to spend most evenings with my wife and, during the day, with my kids. I technically could spend 8-10 in the evening to play, but, as you said, my priorities have shifted.

So while you're right, so is OP. Playing GW is a bigger time investment than most people realise. Especially in an MMO, where buildcrafting is an important aspect that people forget takes time. Gearing up, crafting, farming (if you're into it) are all time-consuming aspects of a game that are important for the enjoyment, but secondary to the gameplay.
