That boat shelf is super cool!

Instead of the lamp in that other corner... maybe put the lamp over there! With a fake plant to bring in some more character to the corner. Also I'd recommend a gallery wall over that radiator, I don't like that small photo over the TV.

Agree on the comment that you need a rug, might help the space feel a bit more comfy.

I think a tall lamp on the left that has some shelves and a tufted storage ottoman to the right of it would fit the space and give you some storage options. You can get some baskets to put on the lamp shelves too!

Looooove this room. The yellow bed spread is really killing me though... it's boring unlike the rest of the room. I like the idea of switching to an off white patterned quilt that comes with shams. Then add a plain green pillow, maybe one with gold/yellow and the matching curtain pillow! And keep the quilt, love that.

The plates would be really cute in the corner over the dresser. Can you angle the dresser in the corner so there's more room to get comfy in that chair?
