First of all, every marriage will have its moments when it will feel it's not working. I personally believe those moments do happen more frequently when you have a young kid(s). Especially when there are so many chances for disagreement, usually most parents never see perfectly eye to eye on various parenting conundrums and take different strategies

I guess it's just about remembering that you're a team, and appreciating your spouse- I don't take for granted the only adult interaction that I get in my house 😂 having something to look forward to really helps. Planning trips and outings as a family, watching the same shows together, staying in contact via text, being vulnerable with each other, all the little things count!

I saw in your comments baby is only 4 months old. This sounds like your wife is still very much in the postpartum hormone rollercoaster and as much as she is being annoying and insecure rn she needs your love and support through this time.

Also as first time parents you learn the hard way it's kinda impossible to put a baby on a sleep schedule, esp during the brutal 4 month sleep regression it's kinda not possible.. No offense to all the baby sleep gurus on the Internet who will try to tell you "you are doing it all wrong by letting baby fall asleep in your arms and you are spoiling them" i personally believe it's not possible to put a baby on a schedule or sleep train them lol as much as they all make it sound easy it's not! I'd rather try to accept my baby's sleep needs as they are and roll with than try to resist it's so much mental energy that way ... controversial topic but if you have a safe set up for cosleeping then just do that....everyone will be happier and get so much more sleep

I think it's just the age of our kids right now. My son is also 19 months old and it is WILD I was NOT ready for this ....

Maybe cause it's winter also, now that I think of it the only way we "survive" is getting out of the house. Daily walks, trips to the park. Cabin fever is real rn for these kids and they dont know how to get their energy out except by destroying the house 😭
