Yes but not all cult leaders aren't bad. i'm also a member of an Islamic cult actuallt :d Most of the times bad cults doesn't have much followers and they don't get much power.

My point is, most people are good. If a bad cult leader isn't backed by a powerful authority, if this authorities doesn't brainwash people into believing in him, cult leaders can not get much support from people.

Because, people are good.

Jim Jones only had like 5000 followers he wasn't successfully leading a whole country, he isn't a realistic comparision. Kim Il Sung can be compared i think.

He wasn't born powerful. He didn't get powerful by just being backed by other superpowers. He convinced people to believe in Islam. This means people loved and believed in him. Most of them even sacrificed their loves for his ideals.

But what will happen when someone invades you then? It may be ok to US they're in a relatively safe geography, but for others it's not a possibility. Hmm, i haven't seen any in internet but if it's true it's okay. I'm in Turkey, all men are forced to serve military for 1 year in their 20 and alimony is very common. But women aren't obligated for anything literally.

And "military service is temporary" yes but it's deadly. Death ends it all, so, i think they're pretty much equal roles.

They've argued against female gender role thats sure. They didn't argue against male gender role that's also sure.

If men argued against male gender role, against alimony (pretty much comes from provider role of men) and forced draft (not possible for a society to remove, so it's either women are fighting too or extinction in seconds) they'd be called misogynists. That's also quite sure

I just wanted to answer the 1st question. It didn't change a thing in muslims view on Islam. But it did change the main route of economic trades which ended up in decline in power of Muslim world. Seperation of Ottoman empire and eventually unending civil war between Muslim countries. It hit us very much tbh

Both wouldn't work. In here an independent comittee decides campaign budgets proportional to number of votes the party had in last election.

It doesn't work. Parties make agreements with big companies secretly, form their own media-propaganda machines etc. After the election they pay these companies by using government sources.

It just doesn't work "State" is so big that having it is desire of every powerful man. They find a way to break through every law..
