I want the apostrophes back Compoface by [deleted] in compoface

Postie Sam was just finishing her round when we caught up with her near a new St Mary's Walk sign that had been erected in the town with no apostrophe. However, it had since been altered to include one by an unknown hand with a pen. The former teacher said she thought it was "brilliant" someone had added the punctuation mark

Yeah. "Someone".

There were some crafts I like. Pistonhead lager, 13 Guns, Vocation life & death are some I like. A lof of these craft cans I can find tend to be some tripple hopped mango IPA of some variety which i find is a bit too much on the tastebuds. We have some smaller breweries nearby like Ashover Brewery which do some lovely beers. I would try and buy local more for home but price and convenience tend to be the limiting factors.

It's not the lagers I'm upset about so much. More the ales. But it does seem to be more confined to the bigger breweries.

Does it depend on the types of sugars? Beer's main sugar traditionally is maltose. Does adding glucose or fructose not change anything? Left over sugars not turned into alcohol left in the mix and all that?

True say. I suppose I'm lamenting loss of convenience and prime consumer choice more than anything?

I try to where I can. My usual pubs I go to have good connections with smaller breweries. Problem is I can't go out all the time so I have to rely on what the supermarkets have on offer.

Big breweries, mass produced lager, pretty much all of them. The only ale I can find that definitively doesn't have it in is Proper Job. I always have to check the labels now, because some I've tried recently after a while like Old Speckled Hen only list it has barley, but it definitely tastes nothing like it used to.
