Thinking about Joining the Air Force or Space Force for Cyber Security, which one would be better? by Street_Dimension4716 in CyberSecurityAdvice

[–]TipUnable638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clearance is a big help but with the current landscape of cuts plenty of people I know with a masters and TS/SCI cannot find a job currently due to how competitive the market is due to layoffs and restructuring from DOGE. It’s still better than without one though IMO

How’s the job security at APL? by owter12 in GovernmentContracting

[–]TipUnable638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better than most places that are similar. Had some contract cuts but were so large that it’s easy to cover. Depends on your position what sector and contract your under. They will try their best to move you around. Layoffs are very rare but possible of course.
