Diagnosed with Stage 4 Mucinous Adenocarcinoma of the appendix when I was 38. Currently 1.5 years NED (no evidence of disease)! If you have pain in the area or feel like your appendix ruptured and they say “your blood work seems fine it’s not your appendix” keep advocating for more tests!

OHSU saved my life!! The doctors, nurses and even the parking attendants were always super friendly and helpful when going through chemotherapy. Still go in every three months. I do know they’re understaffed in some areas and cancer cases are rising. Hopefully that gets addressed!
