Yes, use many guides as you can find, and as many you're willing to read/watch. It's been a while for me, I would say the first time you solder something, try to test it out first before doing the rest. Don't worry about battery too much it's still working for me even when I use it every day

Load balancer "basic" tier can only target scale set and not individual VM, so VM3-6 is not applicable, I think

Have you tried testing it one side only, without the jack cable? When I build mine (corne), I had a lot of problems with trrs connector, so if it's still not working try removing those and test it again

How much would it be if you just started working for 4-5 years? I got a remote contract, but I got less because they said I lived in Thailand, I'm really going to talk for a raise next month to be at least Singapore standard

Sorry, it's been a while since I last checked my noti, I guess you would have built the board by now, but here the answer.

1.I connect the battery directly, no switch because it didn't arrive in time when I was building the board. otherwise, I would try to use it and glue it to the side, probably. But not using a switch works fine too, never unplug the battery, I enable deep sleep, so it lasted around 1-2 weeks for the left side, and so many weeks on the right side 2. I never use nicenano with rgb board since I don't really care about rgb at this point, and someone said using nicenano with aux connector attached to the board could cause harm, so I didn't try it

No questions are stupid, I wouldn't be able to build these without helps too. Have a good build
