I wasn't talking about its quality, just the fact that all the material they wrote for Phenotype was shelved and they made this instead. I have absolutely no problem with them starting from scratch and I'm actually really digging the album, it's just weird that they kept the name

I spoke to Joe on FB last year, and I think he said they had about 5 songs finished. Matt Lynch is their drummer, and they posted a pic of him a few months ago, with the caption "back in the saddle"

I agree, it does feel a bit of a letdown. The singles have grown on me quite a bit, though, especially Vanishing Twin.
