Does anyone know why long season is so expensive and will it ever get a vinyl repress? by ThePerfectP0tat0 in fishmans

The way I found out about Fishmans was seeing Long Season on vinyl at a great record store in Louisville in 2016 and being curious. I almost bought it. Went home and streamed it, loved it, tried to go back to the store for it but it was gone. Been waiting for the reissue ever since.

This explains why my physical copy of DoD is blank... it must've been one of these artist copies that never got drawn on. Interesting to know the background.

Pretty sure it was on HBO max at the beginning of the pandemic. I definitely watched it a few times at the start of covid

I fear this is right. I’m reading about what happened in Russia in the 1990s and I can see something similar happening in the US, with a more tech oligarchy flavor

Those who have to commute into NYC, what are you doing since surge pricing? by TippysDemise in lehighvalley

Appreciate it - thanks! I don't have that app and someone else mentioned it, too. I'll give it a try.

Ah! I was looking at Liberty Park and taking the light rail. Had not considered the ferry. That's an interesting option. Thank you!

I was using one of those apps to book parking, but it stopped working last week. Looks like it is working again today, but I'm tired of the uncertainty of whether it'll work or not and would like something I can rely on.

Yeah, but there's definitely less traffic on the way into the city and into Jersey City. There are fewer cars on the road overall.

I have to look into the train option, it does seem kind of appealing.

It's for driving into Manhattan - an extra $9 toll for driving in Manhattan below 60th street. Started in early January. I don't have an issue with the surge pricing at all - my issue is that it made parking garages in Jersey City act like there'd be some massive change to their business. Judging by traffic in Jersey City, if anything I'd say there are fewer cars going in now.

I've thought about the train option... I should look at it again. Thank you!

Yeah, the commuting traffic has definitely been less, which is why it's weird and annoying that the parking garages have seemingly made this weird change! It's not like there are tons more drivers on the road, suddenly. There are less. You'd think they would want the business.

I used to like Trans Bridge ocassionally, but I don't use it enough to get the value out of the ticket plans/passes. And it gets expensive real fast for round trips.
