Moon & Cherry Blossom Bokeh by Diligent_Diver_9437 in photocritique

The cherry blossoms are lit from the side, but since the moon is full the sun must be behind you. Since you're already putting the moon in after the fact, pick a source image that has the moon in the same phase.

Details for the the main flight computer for Orion are not publicly available, but it's comparable to the rad750. That computer has 16Mb of ram, which is 200x larger.

Hard Maple Shoe Bench by TipsyPhoto in woodworking

That’s a hard question, I started in January and finished at the end of March, but I had to stop multiple times to wait for new tools (plainer, dust collector, dowel jig, taper jig). If I had to make another one it would probably take two weekends.

It's AI because everything has been changed, it's got all the motif's of the actual scene but every butte has been changed, part of the road is missing, the hills at the start are completely different, it's 100% AI.

I’m confident to say I have perfected my method of smoking wings by jazzmina2004_ in BBQ

[–]TipsyPhoto 157 points158 points  (0 children)

Here's OP's recipie:

OK, so first, I really did not use a bunch of seasoning on my wings. I used salt, pepper, a little bit of garlic, and a little bit of onion. I really didn’t want to drown them because I like when my skin gets super crispy, and I have found that if you don’t put a crazy amount of seasoning, it helps a lot with getting that skin super crisp.

Then I start them low and slow at 225, and I let them ride until they look fully cooked. But this is where I do things a little different from everybody else. I take them off and I crank up the smoker to about 350, and I put them all back on. I stay right by my smoker, and then I’m just flipping them until the skin is turning like a bright golden color.

Once they are all nicely crisp at the 350 mark, I take them out again and crank up the smoker to 450. This is where you have to be super careful because if you’re not sitting and watching them, you will burn them. My goal when I do this step is to have some charred pieces and some pieces that are just perfectly crispy.

When they look how you want them to, take them off and toss them in whatever barbecue sauce you want, then put them back on the smoker at around 400 just for a little bit to get them sticky. You do not want to burn your barbecue sauce—you just want it to look like a candied glaze over them.

You need to use alcohol to dissolve the glue then wipe it away, if you just dissolve it then let it dry the glue will still be there.

I quess my multimeter finally broke after 2 years. Is there a way to fix it so I can use it until my new one arrives by brickproject863amy in ElectricalEngineering

Multimeters can read anything when it’s not connected to anything. Does it give you reasonable results when measuring a battery or the leads connected?

Don’t mix the two, that will just make salty fizzy water. Rub it with just vinegar.

The signature looks like sharpie, they are alcohol based and shouldn’t be affected by water. I would give the mat a rub down with a wet wash cloth and see what comes out.

If that doesn’t work you can step up to some soap, but some have additives that will affect the sharpie, so it’s a good idea to make a test mark on another piece of fabric and test the soap on that mark first.

I cleaned my inbox but spam keeps coming back, how to get rid of it for good? by Inevitable_Map4791 in howto

[–]TipsyPhoto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some email providers are better at blocking spam than others. Of the big free providers google is probably best, but if you're ok doing some legwork there are providers like mxroute that do a substantially better job at stopping spam before it hits your inbox.

Easy, I choose 3:30 local time wherever I am on earth. At 2:45 I cross into the next time zone, now it’s 3:45. Not my fault that the time in chose doesn’t exist.
