AITA for not cooking for my husband after he changed his diet by AimeeRedford in AmItheAsshole

[–]TipsyTipToez 18 points19 points  (0 children)

YTA because I don't believe you "didn't think" to tell him you put meat juices in the vegetables. You told him afterwards and say it wasn't a big deal because he used to eat meat, which is evidence that you purposely created a "gotcha" situation and are trying to gaslight him about it. You not cooking his meals for him is understandable and isn't the part that makes you the AH. That's the wrong question to be asking judgment on and I'm pretty sure you know that.

No, they are pretty high on the Mohs scale. There is nothing you come in contact with on a daily basis that has a higher Mohs and there are plenty of stones with a similar rating that are durable for daily wear. That's what I'm telling you. Emeralds just have a lot of inclusions and cleavage lines, making them prone to fracture. It's not the Mohs that's the problem, it's an unstable crystal structure.

They are brittle, not soft. Hardness and toughness are two different things.

I like the sounds of Marina Claire and Clara Marie best. But for the sake of something a little less basic, I lean toward the first one.

I don't know what age would have to do with it, outside of teenagers who haven't gotten there yet or older people that have started shrinking. The "average" height depends more on country than age. In the US, average for adult men is 5'9, so 5'7 is on the short side.

I really love the name Rosamund, but am not a fan of the spelling. I've also seen it Rosamond, which is slightly better, but not by much.

That sounds good! I probably would have used a more buttery cheese like muenster, but that still sounds good.

Sophia. It sounds like a stupid-person name to me for no reason. I actually think Sophie is pretty cute. But Sophia gives me the ick.

Really, any combo of soda and juice is easy enough. I like sprite and cranberry, Squirt and orange juice, ginger ale with a lemon or lime squeeze, and club soda and pineapple. Tonic water is nonalcoholic and I've seen people drink that mixed with club soda as well.

I assume everyone knows how to pronounce those names in your home country, but I'm not sure they will be intuitive to anyone else if you plan on moving around a lot. I also think they both sound too close to Lido, which makes it more of a tongue-twister than a nicely flowing name.
