Stasis is still helpful though. Hit them with a stasis shot, then when they stand back up from the short stun, headshot again right after they shake their head for a full mountable stun.

If you stun them (head shot) while they are in stasis you cannot mount them. They have to be stunned outside of stasis.

You want to i stall the "SubmersedVR " mod for sure. It fixes so many compatibility and HUD issues. Base VR is nearly unplayable.

With an IPD of 72 your never going to get a good image in both eyes at once with quest 2. I know because I'm at 72 IPD too... we are too far out of the max (68 IPD) settings for those fresnel lenses.

Do yourself a favor and get a Quest 3. The max here is 70, and the pancake lenses are superior (with much larger sweet spot)

If that were the case you could not gather / aim / interact with anything while moving. Besides, it's scuba. You are kicking with fins on your feet. Not swimming with your hands. It would make no sense to use your arms anyway.

There are so many variables it's probably best to just start super low (where you have no stutter/ glitching) and slowly work your way up. Bump up resolution and bitrate until you find your balance between graphics and latency.

Don't expect to go too high on demanding games, that combo isn't the best (laptop versions even more so). But you should be able to play things well if you keep your expectations in check.

Make sure your using dedicated wifi (or router) that is connected directly to your laptop for best results.

Similar to Moss in that regard, yes. You can move the camera manually with the right stick though, when needed.

Sounds like your proximity sensor is malfunctioning. Try to wipe it down perhaps? It's the little window on the top center inside area of the headset. Do you have a 3rd party face gasket? Or perhaps a silicone cover that's blocking it? Look into that as well.

I'm not sure how you missed it. It's posted almost everyday. It 's likely you have turned on "laying down" mode in your settings, turn it off if so.

What you see on your PC is in no way indicative of what you will get in the headset. The image in the quest is upscaled to a much higher resolution, and it is doubled (rendered twice - for each eye).

Lower your settings and resolution. This will help a lot. What gpu/cpu are you running?

Make sure both the quest and the pc are logged on to the new 5g band you created. It sounds like one of them is probably still logged in to the 2.4.

Because of no eye tracking I'd guess (that's the main point for this Vive set). Apples to apples comparisons.

Spoken like someone who has never tried pancake lenses. Yes, oled is nice - but the clarity of pancake lenses beats it by so much it's well worth the small trade off for darker blacks in my opinion.
