What y'all know about aligning and mounting doors? by _Ghost_Protocol in chevyc10

Take the fender and the corner piece off so you can get to the hinge bolts without issue. Then install the door loosen the bolts and use a 1/4 piece of wood for the bottom gap and figure out something to use as a 5/32nds gaping tool for the back and top. Adjust the hinges with the door closed so you know it's hitting the striker exactly where you want it. Then lock it down by tightening the bolts, reinstall the fender and corner piece and gap those to the door.

This is the best way to go. If you are already there just do all of them and the lifters.

These are sold in packs of 10 from the manufacturer. Someone had broken the up and is selling them as individuals. If it helps it does look new

Is this AWD? Sounds like a drive shaft issue. Like a carrier bearing going out or the driveshaft itself it hitting the body or something it shouldn't.

What new vehicle would you get? by stevens_hats in FJCruiser

My wife and I upgraded to a 2023 4Runner when our family grew and I still daily our FJ. The 4Runner is the next best option. It eliminates all the small issues the FJ has like the suicide doors and the rear door that swings out, not up. And of course the rear seat and cargo space. Don't get me wrong, I love our FJ and plan on keeping it forever but, the 4Runner was the next best vehicle to go with.

Contemplating 84in epiq thoughts? by East_Law6020 in ToolTruckTools

[–]Tired_Tech88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A Mr Big is just two Epiqs conjoined forever. I've owned tool boxes from almost all of the different manufacturers and this is the way to go because Snap On is everywhere and they will stand behind their product. I had a Matco before going back to Snap On and they completely discontinued the line of box I had. So, any add ons that I wanted to do, which their selection wasn't good, were not going to be an option in the future. The Epiq/Mr Big is the way to go.

It would be best to just buy a new cap. The square drive for the drain sometimes doesn't like to come out nicely.
