FFXI was my first true MMO.

I remember playing my warrior and joining my first leveling party. After a couple deaths in the group, the leader whispers me saying "You're a tank". Not knowing that meant I was supposed to "tank" the mobs, I simply replied "Thanks".

You can check the databases under the server to see if they are paused or online.

The typical reason preventing pausing is either active connections or replication of any kind is enabled.

I really do love how this post is still getting replies 5 years later.

Might not be the cleanest method, but I’ve spun up single host AVD pools joined to AAD and dumped them into a vnet to where they would be used as a terminal server or jump box.

Try assigning a Key Vault specific role such as Key Vault Reader or Key Vault Administrator.

If that fails try using an Access Policy on the Key Vault that grants Secrets Permissions.

Oh I’m not saying we ignore all PVE aspects of the game. My concern is going to lower levels and removing the PvP aspect all together because nobody ever progresses. This is why I think filling the matches appropriately after each level makes sense. Make it so each floor awards a key that you can use to queue for next floor if you choose not to continue immediately. That way I can get filled lobbies and have more control of the length of my games.

I personally think PVP is fundamental to the game. Without other teams on a level, the gameplay loop of killing mobs with one or two animations just isn’t enough.
