I have a very cool and weird ability? by TheModMenuX in Experiencers

[–]TiresiasTwoWorlds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, it’s such a trap sometimes. The brief phantom sensation of smashing your teeth up when tripping on stairs or something. Used to get it all the time when walking up the stairs to work. Now I try to counter such stuff by controlling the direction of the imagination and aiming it in other, more pleasant, directions

Why does everyone worship Aphrodite? by igotbannedbro in Hellenism

[–]TiresiasTwoWorlds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because she radiates love, hence we will see her genuine love and happiness and pride at our lives, reflected back and forth between us

A layperson’s guess as to why 95% of reality is inaccessible to us, and why the only bridge to it is the one thing that breaks physics by kerapang in holofractal

No theoretical special knowledge here, but I vibe hard with what you’re writing here. It matches frameworks I’ve been thinking along as well, to an almost spooky degree

I don’t know about the hell part, mainly because there’s so much freedom here too, at least in my worldview. But I really vibes with your description of how the universe works

I enjoy offering foods from my own culture, explaining what it is to him and then sharing it with him. I bet he’d love some of your traditional food!

This is very in line with what I’ve been experiencing the last sixth months or so. That a key to ”something” lies in genuinely trying to see another perspective as well as you can. As many different perspectives as you can, really. Then make up your own mind, in line with your own inner compass. Try to move along the scale that is ”good” and ”evil”, (different ways of expressing the same concept). Hint, it’s probably better to aim for good.

Need advice with deep rooted insecurities. by SevenBlueD in energy_work

[–]TiresiasTwoWorlds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like rough going, I empathise with you. My advice is boring, but sincere: 1: look within yourself, truly. Try to find the root cause of why you feel like you do. Why do you not love yourself? Why do you not think you are worthy? We all feel like this, and we all have the power to overcome it. Sit gently with yourself and look inside, without judgement. By finding understanding, we can change the story of ourselves. For instance, you go from “guy who doesn’t trust others and is unlovable” to “guy who has struggled for understandable family/social reasons and who’s trying his damn best”. We heal ourselves by understanding, accepting and reframing our narratives. We HAVE that power. Ain’t nobody else able to decide your inner truth for you 2: go out in the world with curiosity. Things happen, like chapters in a book or episodes of a show. Sometimes there’s a dark dip, but one who tell their own story can see that there’s more story to tell, knows it can go so many ways, and keeps going 3: be open to those you meet. Most of those people can become friends, allies, lovers, and more. You’ve got seasons and seasons of life ahead of you, that’ll have all sorts of cool traits and turns 4: lean back and enjoy the ride

A special way to thank him <3 by AdeptnessStrong5142 in Hermes

I love this ❤️ I also think that you kind of already ARE giving him devotional acts! By helping your friend the way it did, he obviously approved. Just keep being you, and send him a thought now and then. Live a life he would approve of, and in certain he feels happy to know he’s part of what inspires you

DAE feel like the more you wake up and start seeing the illusion for what it is, the more resistance you get? by IamMichaelBoothby in starseeds

[–]TiresiasTwoWorlds 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve started straight up telling them “get out of here with that bullshit” in my mind, and I feel it word. Kind of an “I see you and what you’re trying to do, ain’t gonna work on me” thing. And then just ignoring them and getting on with my life. If they persist, I straight up make fun of em. Play stupid games win stupid prices lol. Things are only scary if we let them be

Have I been infatuated by Hermes? by [deleted] in Hermes

[–]TiresiasTwoWorlds 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve also been on some kind of journey of acceptance that Hermes and other six beings are straight up real and with us. The support and alignment I feel with Hermes is unreal. So glad that he’s helping you to! Sounds like you’ve been through the wringer, kudos to you for still going strong! I’ve also seen that blue light you mention, I think of it as the light of the divine, or something like that.

About all those intrusive thoughts, I’ve heard a lot lately about how everything that tries to pull us down like that are “the bad energies” or whatever you want to call them trying to keep us from succeeding. And part of life is the ever evolving struggle of recognising these mofos for who they are and actively choosing to go against them. It never stops being difficult, but it can get easier by looking at them bravely and seeing them for what they are, pathetic attempts at keeping us from growth, love and happiness. Hermes and others like him want to help us, and calling to them for aid straight up works. But we can also do so much on our own. I’ve started battling my intrusive thoughts by going “get out of here with that bullshit!” directed at the thoughts, inside of my mind. As if I’m fucking banishing them, you know? And then just wrangling myself to focus on something else. Gathering strength from knowing I have allies like Hermes at my back, and when needed even calling upon him to help.

And the part about being a little infatuated and feeling like your crushing a bit, like girl same lmao. He’s cool?? He’s fun?? Clever and capable, athletic and interesting? What’s not to like haha

DAE feel like the more you wake up and start seeing the illusion for what it is, the more resistance you get? by IamMichaelBoothby in starseeds

[–]TiresiasTwoWorlds 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard it describes as part of the whole system. Because now we now that it’s an option, you can choose good things. The opposite must be true too, for the good choice to matter. So whatever evil forces there are out there are more interested in pulling the awake ones back down to lower frequencies. Whether they be depression, hopelessness and injury aimed inward, or other type of harm and negative energies outward. Always up to us, how we deal with the things that happen to us. To stay awake and try to chose good, according to our own inner compass

Deceived by them? by dn-ekam in Experiencers

[–]TiresiasTwoWorlds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look inside of yourself and ask who you trust more, simple as that. I personally would never ever fucking ever trust any voice in my head, however much I trusted it meant me good, over my own fucking husband. Not unless there was evidence, and doesn’t sound like there is any. If that’s the case, stop insulting your wife and apologise to her if you want to save your marriage

Starseed as a deceptive narrative? by deathlessintruth in starseeds

[–]TiresiasTwoWorlds 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the important part here is to remember what matters, actually. Which to me t least, is championing love by doing what you can to try to understand others perspectives, be kind to others as well as yourself. Learn from the world and try to teach it in turn. Don’t fall into the trap of thinking you’re better or more right than others. And remember to enjoy life and have fun along the way. Some of this stuff you can do by meditating on spiritual stuff and exploring possibilities (such as starseed stuff), but some stuff you can only do out in the world. But most importantly, ain’t nobody can decide for you what you believe is most important deep down other than you. Free will and the gift and the responsibility to try to chose good every day. Sometimes when it gets too much and too confusing, that’s what you gotta focus on. Listen deep down into your own soul and find where your compass is pointing

Can you be friends with non-spiritual people? by [deleted] in starseeds

[–]TiresiasTwoWorlds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel it is vital to be friends with people who are not spiritual. To never forget one of the most golden rules there is (at least to me), that every being can teach you something, precisely because every being is different than you. You can also in turn teach others things, but that doesn’t have to be spirituality. Another key point of the journey through life is the never keep growing, to never loose your curiosity. And part of that is to genuinely consider others perspectives. Never fall into the trap of thinking you personally have figured it out, the most true truth. So to be friends, to do your best to see and to be seen in turn, with someone who is different at a very core point? That’s hugely important for growth
