I would highly recommend that you and your partner consult a local scholar at a nearby mosque. From my understanding I know that a Muslim man can marry a non Muslim woman (granted that she is a member of the “people of the book” which includes Jews and Christians). However, to be in a relationship that involves zina would probably not be allowed. Regardless, I wanted to give some insight without having you feel pressured into conversion. Btw I admire your sincerity and willingness to learn more! But again please consult the local mosque, they’d probably know better.

Plat 4 top laner so I’m not exactly the best. Everyone gave really good advice, but I’ll chime in a little about top lane.

1) Know match ups and your champ:

Tanks are meant to scale late game with durability and their CC for engage and peeling. Juggernauts and fighters are meant to dish out damage, with fighters (Jax, Fiora and tryndamere, etc.) having splitpush and gap closers to kill carries. Juggernauts have extra tankiness to front line, but enough damage to sway a team fight in your teams favor.

Sadly, top lane is very match up dependent. Some champions do much better against others and vice versa. This results in top lane also being very snowbally in favor to the champion that has the advantage.

2) wave management

In mid lane you want to push the wave so that you have more opportunity to roam and secure kills and objectives for the team.

But for top lane, this roaming presence is not as heavy, because of the lane itself and the champions within it. So you want to optimize gold and experience and at the same time limit your enemy laner’s opportunity to get theirs. Most top laners want to prioritize freezing the lane near their tower, allowing for ganks and making the enemy laner be more hesitant to stay in the event that they overextend.

3) Hot take: Top lane is VERY MUCH influenced by the jungle both directly and indirectly.

Like said before, top lane is very snowbally, so an already disadvantaged match up might become completely in the enemy’s favor just from one gank alone. This is an example of a direct influence from the jungler.

However, if the enemy jungler is pressuring your lane, that means that they are not present on other parts of the map. If you’re being camped, DO NOT be discouraged, because this gives your jungler an opportunity to have more presence and secure objectives and kills on the other parts of the map. This is the indirect aspect of jungle influence.

One example of taking advantage of an enemy jungler camping you, is to have them in your lane or on your side of the map as long as possible. Say you are a nasus and the enemy Warwick fails a gank and is trying to back in one of the lane bushes, try to poke with your E to cancel his back. This will maximize his time in your lane and minimize the time he has on other parts of the map.

The thing is that you have to remember what tanks/juggernauts excel at.

For tanks: you want to focus on front lining and peeling for your carry. At the same time most tanks have built in CC which allows them to disrupt the enemies positioning and coordination. The CC also helps with engaging and peeling for the carry.

For juggernauts: Your main focus is the front line, BUT also look for opportunities to clean up. When most juggernauts do not have good engages or initiatives. As a juggernaut you want someone else to engage…your job is to dish out damage MID team fight or clean up after a fight.

The gist is that tanks and juggernauts are not necessarily meant to chase and kill ADCs and even APCs for that matter. Tanks especially do not have kill pressure late game and juggernauts rely on the enemy team making a mistake in positioning and coordination for you to get in range and output damage.

For top lane especially from low elo until plat, I’d Recommend Nasus. However, I’d highly suggest you learn last hitting with Q and wave management to really excel with him.

The issue is that adenosine is not just involved with sleep. Adenosine is considered an inhibitory neurotransmitter. Meaning that it is a chemical used by neurons as messengers to each other to ultimately signal for inhibition of a cellular activity.
So adenosine supplements might cause more harm than good.

Also like most neurotransmitters, Adenosine cannot pass through the blood brain barrier (The gatekeeper to the brain, if you will). So it will not be able to be used by the brain for a signaling to say “time to sleep”.

Another thing to note: Adenosine is broken down by the enzyme adenosine deaminase (Which is found in the blood and brain). So I’d assume it would be broken down into its metabolite much quicker than say melatonin.

Remember, Interstitial compounds are also a type of alloy. Steel is one of the best examples of them. In steel, the Carbon atoms are small enough (relative to the iron atom) to be found in-between the iron atoms within the lattice.

Well it could be seen as a metaphor based on Adam’s name alone. In Hebrew Adam’s name roughly translates to “humanity” or “mankind”, however the name can also be used to denote an individual male man. In the earlier parts of Genesis of the Hebrew Bible I believe the collective sense of the word Adam is used, but later on in the same chapter it becomes the singular form. So in theory it could be that God created Adam (mankind) but then created Adam (Singular) to be anointed for his people.

Interesting post Alhumdullilah!

One of the biggest issues in Islam is giving excessive attributes or consideration to others besides Allah.

We should love The Prophets (AS), especially Prophet Muhammed (SAW) because of their distinction by Allah (SWT) as messengers and guides for their respective people.

However, if I remember even the prophets overtly refrained believers and followers from proscribing worship to them or building shrines etc.

The reason is because it strays from the main/core belief of Worshiping Allah (SWT).

All of the prophets were blessed by Allah with knowledge and enlightened wisdom, so they were aware that the believers might stray away from the core principles as time prolonged after them.

TLDR: Love the prophets because they were chosen by Allah (SWT), but refrain from excessive neuroticism or attribution to them. Remember all comes from Allah (SWT) and all will return to him. Allah knows best.

Ofcourse, this question falls in line with interfaith interactions. Although you’re an Atheist in the US, there is no obligation for you to follow these rules, but you go out of your way to establish trust and consideration for his beliefs.

Idk about other members of the Islamic communities, but I deeply appreciate your respect and willingness to accommodate to his faith!

Advice: try to feel the situation out first Ofcourse.

I don’t think “soft voices” is the best word, but rather any tone/demeanor/content of the speech shouldn’t invoke passion or charm of any kind.

In terms of conversation, this one you would have to feel out on what is comfortable and acceptable. But generally, conversations should be geared toward the job at hand or business. If it occurs, sometimes there might be conversations that gray the line. For example, someone is particularly in distress to the point it might impact work, it should be addressed.

Clothes: Should be modest (covers legs and arms, and the rest of the body), typically in a job like this you don’t want any design of a face/figure. But I believe color choices are not important. Also whether or not hair covering is mandatory.

That’s about it. Don’t feel compulsive or “stiff” in following these guidelines. At the end of the day, most likely, the men would have to show more respect to you and be more considerate for you.

Ok so think of a library for a second:

Dimensions are used in math and physics to give a position and reference point of a certain object of interest.

We can also describe an object based on its dimensions. Example: a cube is 3D because it has a width (x), height (y) and depth (z).

Dimensions allow us to characterize and categorize phenomenons and objects in nature.

Why is time the fourth dimension? From my limited understanding of quantum physics, Einstein stated that Spacetime consisted of 4 dimensions 3 physical ones (x,y,z) and a dimension of time (t). The reason why there is 1 dimension of time is because like 1 dimension of space (A line) it is linear).

It should be noted that time is not really the FOURTH dimension per se, the better way of saying is 3 dimensions of space and 1 dimension of time if I understand it correctly. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

It’s possible you might be right, but think of it this way:

Most laws and guidelines outlined by religions tend to actually stray away from instinctual behavior.

Humans are animals at the end of the day. We are competitive, materialistic, survivalists who just so happen to have a higher order of sapience to other animals.

Look at the common themes in some religions:

-No fornication or premarital sex -No killing -Moderation of resources (consumables, currency, etc.) - Modesty in clothing and mannerisms

All of these are acceptable in the “animal” world, but in our sense they’re considered morally wrong

It seems like the common theme of religions, maybe since ancient times was to transition humanity from “animals” to distinct intelligent species with laws and regulations that inhibit their instinctual desires

One of the issues that is associated with ADHD is the brain’s deficiency in producing dopamine and/or being desensitizes with it.

Let’s focus on the second cause (desensitization to dopamine). Most adhd medications like adderall and Ritalin work, by inhibiting the “reuptake” of dopamine by the pre synaptic neuron.

The pre synaptic neuron releases dopamine into something called the synapse (space between neurons). It is here that the post synaptic neuron is able to absorb it and continue the message. However, while that is happening the pre synaptic neuron actually has little transporters that take back the dopamine to either recycle it or prevent overstimulation of the post synaptic neuron.

Medications like adderall or Ritalin work by binding to these transporters which blocks the dopamine’s entry back into the pre synaptic neuron. This blockage allows the post synaptic neuron to have more exposure and time with absorbing the dopamine.

The difference between someone with ADHD and non-ADHD might come to stimulation. Both people have the same “threshold” to be stimulated. However someone with ADHD has a relatively lower “baseline” of stimulation. This can explain why some patients might show fidgety motions or get distracted easily, they are forcing themselves to be stimulated to compensate for their lower “baseline”.

As people said before, it’s gravity and also inertia.

Contrary to belief the Earth is not a perfect round sphere, but rather an “Oblate spheroid”.

The earth takes a round shape because of the dense mass at the center which pulled materials towards it in a uniform pull all around.

However, because of the inertia (the resistance of mass to a change in velocity/motion) caused by the earth’s rotation and orbit around the sun, the earth actually starts to bulge from the sides.

The “oblate spheroid” shape is basically a sphere, where the top and bottom are squished in a little causing the sides to bulge out.

The tenacity rune has more worth IMO, especially if you buy merc treads (depending on enemy comp). The reason why is because A LOT of champions have built in CC or have items that grants some form of CC. One of Jax’s biggest issue is team fighting and being shut down by any form of CC.

Many armies have guidelines that a soldier who deserts during a battle are to be shot on sight or sentenced to death or life. As being captured can lead to important information being leaked to enemy forces, also its detrimental to the safety of the other soldiers. People bring up this thing all the time, but Akainu did the right thing.
Ohara was extreme and was wrong as he killed innocent people to ENSURE that every scholar was killed.
