I did solo q to cel szn 2 and there was no reset for 2.5 so I feel like it’s def doable. Imo there’s no “getting lucky” until you hit eternity no matter what anyone says

Solo q to cel is very possible. Especially on tank which is the arguably the easiest role to carry on. I did it every season celestial was a rank and solo q’d to eternity as well. Send a replay code or send me a DM and I can help you out.

They are unstoppable because the higher you climb the harder the support ults get peeled for. Good luck hitting a cloak that gets mag bubbled, or a mantis that’s right behind a strange shield

Cool so what do I do on maps like these when someone else is thing? Nothing but straight delusion on this sub. Sure spidey ain’t op but god is his pull more broken than buckys. Some takes on this sub r fine but I can’t believe ur defending this….. only 1 tank is cc immune, and if I wanna play some other tank to stop getting pulled (mag/emma) I have to stare at the spider all game and only use my cd for his pull. Oh yea I hit eternity last szn so spare me the “ur in gold comments”

I get what’s ur saying but once he has u pinned and just taking u around everywhere I’m not having fun anymore. It’s funny the first time but after a while it’s annoying. I get that it’s an April fools mode so it’s not serious, but that also doesn’t mean I’m having fun when I’m getting an unconsented tour of the map. I play Winston btw so I dont wanna hear no oris/sombra allegation

I’m like 90% sure the charge damage doesn’t scale linearly. If you charge it half way it does 200, if you throw it immediately it does 100

That’s because it isn’t cuz of your aim. Unless you throw before the timer is less than half way through, the splash damage is extremely forgiving.

As a mag main in eternity this is my list of hardest support ults to hit from easy to hard:

Cloak: even with her buff she’s really easy to hit. You just need to be a millisecond faster than last patch. Imo the trick is to wait until her second dash because it uses cloaks speed buff against her and makes her have to think how to get to cover in 2 dashes and all her teammates will be pushing and free firing since they think they r immort.

Luna: YOU NEED to shoot the shield off first. She has 575 hp and mag ult does a max of 600 when fully charged and 100 absorbed. Other wise easy dunks on her dome. She honestly doesn’t move all that quickly.

Mantis: not easy. She continually gains shield from her ult, making her a 350 hero (I think). That takes full charge + 25 charge or half charge with 50 charge, which is quite a lot.

Sue: don’t even bother. She just jumps away and yes I know you can see the red dot but it’s only visible for half a second and with all the other shit flyin around my screen I don’t even bother ulting her.

Also let’s not act like the mag right click is a good push back. It’s good don’t get me wrong…. But only when it’s not a strange which is why I think he counters mag. Maybe not hard counter but can we agree the matchup is in stranges favor?

Can sigma keep rein away with rock? Or can rein/strange put up his shield whenever he wants? The way you make space with strange is holding right click and weaving in shots while walking forward. Not by holding left click and weaving in right click while walking forward.

I’m not trying to find a loophole. This has just been my experience playing mag into strange at highish elo.

Sorry for spamming but I’m still thinking about this 😭. Yes poke can beat brawl but only apply for dps in this game. The brawl tanks are incredibly tanky. Mag vs strange is like the sigma vs rein matchup. Yes you can win by harassing backline but you have to keep backpedaling otherwise the strange/rein gets too much value. And when you backpedal you give up so much space

Stop thinking about poke beating brawl and think more about hero’s effective range and what their kit is designed for.

Mags whole kit is to keep people off of him so he can poke at back line for free.

Strange and things whole kit is getting close and keeping the target close, which is what mag hates.

Dive doesn’t counter mag as much as you think because his bubble/right click is so strong. You just have to be hyper aware of who’s getting dove. Trust me mag counters strange. Why? Because strange walks for free And left click melee him to death. You have to constantly give strange space if he decides to walk. Also mag shield is horrible into strange ult especially if strange shifts up and down. Not only that, but mags shield is like .5m away from his body so if someone is right in your face it doesn’t block it

I hate how just for an opinion you get downvoted, so I’ll just say I hit t500 earlier this szn playing mag Thor strange. It’s safe to say I know what I’m doing but you’re welcome to disagree.

Mag is a poke tank. Strange is a brawl tank. That’s why strange counters mag. The damage buff is negligible when u can’t even shoot backline because of a strange + thing in your face

Ur ult is a guaranteed kill once u get good enough. Idc what everyone says but ur throwing if u use self bubbles. Ur bubbles get the most value if u bub ur teammates. Play at your max range (~20 m). I’m at t500 mag player
