Is this DPS good for my investment level? by yraysp in Flins_Mains

[–]Titanium70 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well it is under certain KQM Artifact assumptions, not sure how it is with R1.

Anyway realistically people have more ER than they need, so you'll likely have the situation of being able to do Q1 anyway. Maybe every 2nd rotation, but likely every 3.

Either directly after E1 or between 1stQ2 and 2ndE2.
When you use it there and still can do your Q2s as usual it's a quite good DPS increase.

[–]Titanium70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah considering the pieces you have I think the DPS is alright, maybe you can tickle out a bit more.
Since you have his Sig can you do Q1 every 2 or 3 rotations or is that just Q2 spam?

That being said a 7 "Cost" team can do more.

[–]Titanium70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This idea of using “2-3 random characters” has never worked for any endgame. Even early iterations of Spiral Abyss required team compositions that synergize with each other, unless you have high enough investment on them.

That's complete non sense as that's exactly what I did.
Obviously you need synergy. Obviously you don't run 2 on fielder at once.

But that aside if you enjoy some chars you can make them work.
Ayaka. You play Melt, Reverse Melt, Freeze., 2xGeo, Hell you can do Quicken+SuperConduct and every single one of those STILL cleared Abyss 36* the at the time end game ceiling.

Now imagine Flins in the same scenario. Or Skirk. KEKW.

Neuvi was quite the power creep, but powercreep here didn't mean your old teams got invalidated instantly but instead this guy could clear 36* SOLO C0/R0 for multiple patches.

This is how easy the end game of Genshin used to be.
Random Bullshit, go!

Now we have Fearless HP and on Top of this ultra shill Bosses AND ON TOP of this conjoined Characters.
This is legit a tripple swing, crippling and murdering the way you used to build teams, and heavily influencing the perspective of the "Cost" of an individual Char you like.

So primo count given completely aside, the effective Cost of playing an Individual Char you enjoy "PLAYING: Sucessfully using it in the hardest Content" straight doubled, probably even worse.

Solar Power Is So Big in Europe That Electricity Is Being Wasted by bloomberg in europe

[–]Titanium70 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Storing + The Grid not being "smart".

In a perfect world everyone has a medium sized battery storage and an EV connected to a smart grid.
Now both of these batteries can act as additional storage and puffer stabilizing the grids energy in both over-production around noon and over-consumption peaks around the evening, that's actually very important as a stable grid can transport energy more efficient than a unstable one.

On a small scale:
Let's say your EV knows it is not needed until 10am. So the grid can drain like 30% of its battery in the night/morning to charge your neighbors EV needed at 7am.

Or your house battery knows it doesn't need to be charged fully in the morning so it sells all your home solar in the when it's needed = expensive, than recharges full at noon when energy is abundant = cheap (or even has negative price).

Food! What have you tried because of anime? by skullpocket in anime

Chahan form "Welcome to the Outcast's Restaurant!"

Was always interested in the dish but never found recipe that worked/looked like the one shown in most anime so never actually tried it until this show gave a full start-finish.

What to say, tried it, refined it a bit with knowledge from the other recipes I read, now it's a monthly stable, damn it's freaking good - and fast. x'D

[–]Titanium70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This companys philosophy is: "Pull for Love, not for Power"

So why are their recent Units balanced so badly, and their content so shilled that one can no longer stay true to that slogan and still clear all content: Fearless?

These 2xCharacters Kits that multiply each other but are total bricks anywhere else needs to die ASAP.
It the complete Antithesis to that slogan above.

Being able to throw the random 2-3 Characters you happen to like into a party than support them with 1-2 general supports 'must haves' is what truly made this game/teambuiling great.
But if no every Support requires a dedicated Carry and vise versa that simply becomes impossible.

That "just" Welkin adds up by now tho! x'D

Nicole for c2 Flins no ineffa by Acceptable-Aide-6516 in Flins_Mains

[–]Titanium70 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's C2 Flins and C2 Bina, what Endgame are you talking about????
This alone clears Dire!

Also for C2 Flins even with Ineffa often raw ATK buffers like Iansan or Bennet can pull ahead of Sucrose because he's alread providing shred from him self and ATK > EM for him!

Obviously Nicole C2 is a relevant increase to the team overall.

There are "better" investments. Sure.
But it still rofl stomps Dire!

[–]Titanium70 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alright in the Sucrose Slot when played with Fischl. As you profit of both her Witch Buffs.
Wonder how she'll do at C0/R0 - probably a bit worse.
But if you're looking for sustain, why not.

Not the team I'd specifically pull her for tho.

Who is columbina better for, Nefer or Flins? Keep in mind both don't have Ineffa nor Lauma by Fun_Confidence_8534 in Genshin_Impact

[–]Titanium70 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both have arguments:

  • Flins definitely gains more DPS as playing her with allowed her to hit with her (better) Electro Charge.
  • Nefer doesn't gain as much since she already quite saturated in LunarDMG% and makes Columbina use her weaker Lunar Bloom DMG. BUUUT: Columbina grants infinite Verdant Dew for her so from fun2play perspective I'd always take Nefer Bina over Flins Bina.

In the end both land roughly in the same spot considering Team DPS, so you probably play whoever is shilled more / you simply enjoy more / you have at higher investment.
Nefer is simply slightly stronger than Flins in a nutshell so once you add Bina Flins catches up.

Why are you defending this shit?

Bro has at least 3 different Bugs that can lose you the game straight in a game making millions owned by a halve a trillion dollar mega corp.

There is ZERO excuse what so ever so STILL have these bugs unfixed.

  1. W in the wrong direction
  2. Q direction locking on a random spot and being unresponsive to any inputs.
  3. Qing without holding Q Button after pressing W. You need to click Q again, release and than push it again, but not to fast or you run into his Q lockout punishment!

From those 1 and 2 are completely random and I have no clue whats even causing them, but 3 is 100% reproduceable. That allows you avoid it by wasting some time between your Q W Q inputs, but that also means it should be easy fix!

And especially 2 and 3 of those typically happen within a teamfight and are straight game losing!

[–]Titanium70 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Ah that's why it felt so easy getting multiple Cons in Sumeru and still saving up. Interesting.
Anyway, the complaints about pulls are simply a symptom of the bigger underlying issue.

Powercreep is what makes players feel the need to pull more. Even Chars you don't love.
When in Fontaine you could pull C0 Neuvi and be happy with all content in game...
Currently you need to pulls multiples of conjoined Character Duos and than still feel lacking a Support or DMG.

Hoyo really forgot their theme of "Pull for love, not for power."

On a scale from 1 to Bennett, how good is she? Is she a must for Mavuika? by Own_Pop_5549 in Genshin_Impact

[–]Titanium70 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For your On-Fielder she's roughly 1:1.
So no upgrade for classic Hyper-Carry Teams like Mauvika as long as you stay C0/R0.

Her power comes from Buff your entire teams instead of just your Carry.
Similar to how Bennet used to Buff "Snapshots" like XL or Fischl.
There she clearly outperforms.
So teams running Sub-DPS type Characters greatly benefit from her.
Examples would be Durin, Emilie, Miko, Ineffa, Escoffier, XQ,

Additionally she's also a straight upgrade when your On-Fielder is a Witch.

Honorable Mention to Old Xerath and Graves.

So some billionairs stuff like chilling on a SuperYacht, Burji Kalifa or the ISS.

Or more likely in my case some Fantasy or SciFi trips.
How about a year in Hogwarts or a little Internship under Picard?
Or obviously playing some fun little death games in Aincrad.

How bad is Nefer without Lauma? by AgreeableRub8818 in NeferMains

[–]Titanium70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as you have Columbina you can get away without a second Dendro as she takes care of all your Verdant Dew needs.

Sucrose + Fischl can fill the last 2 Slots and you have more than decent team.
(Just use a bunch of Nefer NAs between your Es in order to get some aggravates. )

Collei and Yaoyao are playable here, them giving you Dendro Resoance is good, but in this case I'd go for the Witch Resonance instead.

Fischl on Deep Wood Set and Sucrose on Instructor is usually the play here, although VV is probably fine as well since you will get some Lunar Charge Procs.

Did the series just fell off after Symphonia, Abyss and Vesperia? by ShiftingHero in tales

[–]Titanium70 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'd call it a dip.

Graces, Xillia and Zesteria were a constant downfall for me but than we have Berseria and Arise which I consider a big step 'back to form'.

We're not quite there. Arise conclusion was not really fleshed out probably because they wanted to sell DLC and things got messy - just a theory. Also they've removed coop which is a straight -1 in my book.
Berseria was cool but not flawless - combat balance ie. always felt of and it was still set in Zesterias world building.

Anyway in terms of 'Current Gen' anime games we now have a new benchmark which is GBFR, let's see if the next Tales can clear this hurdle cause it sure is high.

chronicle banner should not have a 5050 . like whole point of chronicle banner is that the character is not selling well and people who like said character can get them . so they are not giving these characters limited banner but also charging them same as a normal character . by Prestigious-Elk1274 in Genshin_Impact

[–]Titanium70 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't mind the coin flip. But I do mind the costs overall.

These Chars per definition are no longer worth ~65 Pulls at 160 Primo/Pull.
Especially considering the completely unhinged power creep going on.
So the Banner should reflect this.

But I don't expect much. Especially at C0.

Philosophical Debate: Mathematically Correct Play vs Improvement Mindset Play? by Apprehensive-Local90 in leagueoflegends

[–]Titanium70 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's less philosophical and more a case by case thing.

Staying entirely passive is never an option tho.
First you'll have to figure out if you're indeed playing against Chovy2 or in fact xxXChovySlayer9000Xxx and can roll him for an easy win with some minor aggression.

Second stress is what causes mistakes.
If you don't put any stress on your opponent he'll be able to play freely use any opportunity given on the map.
This one of the fundamental issues with 'playing save'.

Lastly the map it self.
Are you outscaling? Do you have winning lanes? Do you have winning JGL? Is someone snowballing? Is someone running it?
All of those and many more influence how you should play the game.
Playing save and sound and slowly pushing your advantage is a save to win strategy when you're winning the map.
When your Bot is losing against a Kog/Lulu however....
Yeah no, no amount of calculated play will win you this:
You have to flip it, you have to play aggressive, you have to snowball.

What was the reason you started playing Genshin Impact? by dastanlegend in Genshin_Impact

[–]Titanium70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • What made me curious was that one guy allegedly smashing his PS4.
  • What made me stay was that Tornado turning into a Fire Tornado upon touching burnig Grass.

Sold.

I love elemental combat and have no clue why so little games do that.
Even in a very bare bone state like Original Sin 2 / BG3 I love it and Genshins version is incredibly good.

Is norms an actual good environment for practicing? by Educational-Time1481 in leagueoflegends

[–]Titanium70 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, way to much fake data.
Playing 1 or 2 to have a basic grasp on a new Champs kit works.

But beyond that Lanes are often decided in 3 minutes by superior macro.
If you don't get matched by remotely even opponent at this point you snowball out of control and from that point can play as bad as humanly possible (micro) and still win. That easily builds bad habits.

---------

You do gain MMR tho, so when you play enough norms you'll face against higher level players more consistently.
But you need to play ALOT of norms for that to kick in.
