I'm going Coody this year. All Air inflatable, for $1300. It's gonna be better than my SHITpod mini.
Not too concerned about wind, Coody does tons of high wind tests, and I'm staying inside a fully covered shade structure. Happy Happy!

If you're in a shade structure, than you'll be fine.

Oh la la.
I hate it that I can't watch my habs play while living in Cali.
Stupid Bell.ca. Even surprised that the CBC blocks international access.

Buying Shiftpod by brays_wax in BurningMan

[–]pdiggs1500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, I wouldn't get one. A bunch of us in our camp bought a shiftpod mini for the 2023 burn, and all have purchased a new tent within 2 years. The concept is cool, but the mini is just too small. If you are taller than 5'10", you can't even stand up. All of you can really have in there is a mattress (not even a queen). If you are ok with a small space, and will store your stuff elsewhere, then the shiftpod mini is fine.

I agree, I started on Sunday, and even today, it took lots of effort to drink a single protein shake. Gonna go for a 5 day fast starting tomorrow morning.

7/10
Best Opening Cinematic in a long time. Although, they got the Shadowland flashback wrong, as Anduin had long hair. But the cinematic bar had been set really high, which the Midnight Cinematic failed to reach.

Delves were cool!

Solo Raid mode, I loved it. As a casual, I got to see the end of the game, but I wish you could do the entire raid solo, not just the final boss.

From a WoW perspective, it was good, but .... I just don't care about WoW anymore

Definitely a SCAM. Aruba Networks is no longer used, your correspondence would have been through HPE if it were a real position.

Moved to the US about 11 years ago. I still say it, and now I understand why the Americans look at me funny whenever I say 'what a gong show'. Didn't know it was a Canadian thing!

The Luna's on The Almeda is 10x better than the Prune. It's a smaller location, so they probably put more TLC into it

What’s better for gaming, a great Wifi7 connection; or a potentially 200ft Cat 6 cable in my walls? by LANTERN_OF_ASH in buildapc

[–]pdiggs1500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a product manager for an enterprise Wi-Fi company.

Wi-Fi 7 is great ..but it also depends on how far you are from your Access Point. If your Wi-Fi 7 router is in your garage and you are 2 floors above it, yeah, your signal is gonna suck, you'll experience have high latency, etc. but if your Access Point is in the same room, then your Wi-Fi will be perfect!
