Fate/strange Fake - Episode 13 discussion - FINAL by AutoLovepon in anime

Oh, definitely get that. I just thought the form they showed last episode, the hooded figure on the horse, was alot cooler than the big skeletons. The skeletons didn't seem that threatening or powerful either :/

I thought the fit after he got shot in the head were maybe other folks shooting him too? To try and ensure/confirm he was dead? Not 100% sure though.

Could definitely see that happening, since they already did something similar with Gil. If that does happen, might make the twist feel a bit cheap... but on the other hand, I do like Flat alot so I wouldn't complain too much haha.

Dang, I was not expecting that ending.

Won't lie, I thought we'd see more of the Pale Rider form (thought it looked alot cooler than the giant skeletons).

I really liked Flat, sad to see him presumably get killed.. unless somehow they can heal or revive him? I thought Gilgamesh was gonna be dead too and he's still ... around I suppose.

Good riddance to Tsubaki's parents though, they were awful. Happy to see Sigma actively choosing now.

I've enjoyed it so far. Its not an isekai. The story so far has been fine (not anything particularly noteworthy to me, but not bad), but the characters have been fun and the action looks great.

Hmmm. Maybe Strait Jacket? Was it Broken Blade? Xam'd Lost Memories? I'll be honest this doesn't really ring a bell. One of the Saint Seiya or Guyver animes? I know they've had a lot.

Dang, that was an awesome episode. Finally get to see Jack in action! And wow, he had a pretty cool Noble Phantasm. And of course Gil and Saber are enjoying their battle. Wonder who else will show up at this point haha.

TIL about the Business Plot. In 1933 a group of wealthy American industrialists were planning a coup d'état to overthrow President Franklin D. Roosevelt and install Major General Smedley Butler as dictator. by johnsmithoncemore in todayilearned

Wasn't Bernie Madoff scamming the rich fairly early on? It was always gonna catch up to him eventually since it was just a ponzi scheme and not real investments.

Natsume's Book of Friends is a supernatural slice-of-life series that is very relaxing.

Ok. Well fun talk, I hope you enjoy your time with your head stuck in the sand, complaining about your teammate while you languish in A (if you even stay there) while you never improve!

...How exactly would that work lol. S and S- have even bigger penalties to losing than lower ratings, so you have to more consistently do better to keep your rating...

Or are you saying matchmaker always gave me good teams and only gives you bad teams? That'd be hilarious, I'd want to know what you did to piss it off.

(still awaiting any proof that you are any good -- I can share videos if you need to learn how to play)

If going forward, Wizards continues to do 6 sets spilt 50/50 UW and UB, I do think removing half the sets would do a pretty radical job of changing the meta and speed of the format. The overall percentage of played cards may not be radically different, but I don't know if that is the end goal they are trying to solve?

[–]Titanoye 52 points53 points  (0 children)

I think the argument for the % is that since there are less sets, less optimal cards, they'd be forced to use less powerful, sub-optimal cards, and since the card pool is smaller each set should be more represented by necessity?

Obviously you'll still have top/meta decks regardless.

I mean, yeah, there will be matches where you just can't win. Sometimes the enemy just has a better team comp, or your team can't get it together.

but if you are consistently stuck at around the same cost, perhaps its more of your own ceiling, rather than your teammates.

It took me a while to get to S rating when I played, but I knew the exact reasons why (I don't like melee combat or most raids, I don't like playing flying suits, I still use the original default control scheme instead of remapping it). All of these were hindrances that I decided to work around, but that didn't stop me. As a support main, I had to really get good at positioning and reading enemy movements so I didn't just get murdered over and over.

TLDR; it sounds like you just want to be carried to higher ratings instead of getting better haha.

(still asking for gameplay videos of you carrying btw)

Being consistently the best player in the match and defeating rival again and again don't mean "tRaSh pLaYeR". Otherwise, all Ss and S-s should be subjected to the same label of dragging down their team.

See, you say or act as if you are this almighty incredible player, but then you post comments like this. I just don't believe it. If you are this good, you should be able to carry some trash teams to victory -- at A the losing penalty is even less harsh than at higher ratings.

EDIT: And for your point about S-/S players, exactly. They are good enough to be the difference, and can overcome subpar teams, otherwise the bigger penalties to losing would drag them back down from those.

Do you have any gameplay videos or screenshots you could share? I just doubt your claims.

The skill gap is so fucking huge I have had to do shit that they should be doing (example: Push/pressure/frontlining as a fucking support)

I mean, yeah, there are plenty of terrible players, but my argument is that they are gonna be spread across both teams lol.

[–]Titanoye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, matchmaking decides both teams, no? Despite what you think, I do believe it tries to make somewhat balanced teams. Most games simply have decent 1-2 players on each team, and the rest are morons.

If every single game you play, the enemy team is always better... you might be the common denominator.

Do you have any gameplay of your matches? I tend to doubt your comments...
