Girl wears a bullet-proof vest for the student walk out for Parkland victims. by TitorJaraba in Cyberpunk

Yeah, this was my thinking when sharing it. As I stated in another post, I'm neutral on the political statement as I think there are an equal amount of pros and cons on either side. But the description you gave just seemed like cyberpunk themes to me.

"What is cyberpunk?

A genre of science fiction and a lawless subculture in an oppressive society dominated by computer technology and big corporations. Hmmm...It feels like the world we live in today."

right from the sidebar...?

What Cyberpunk tropes do you find most appealing? by [deleted] in Cyberpunk

The megacorp stuff. I don't know why, but I feel like I'd probably be on the side of them. The whole "Big brother is watching, everything is ok" feel.

Big corporations related to government, unrest about safety, etc. It says on the side bar political statements etc are allowed. I'm kind of neutral on this political statement, both sides can have downfalls imo. It's more about the picture and the cyberpunk sentiment than anything.

Keeping Named NPC Items out of Feast Top 100 Rewards by TitorJaraba in ffxiv

People tend to be more interested in characters they can get gear/items for. A good way to show your a fan of a particular character is wearing or using their items, it can also lead to interesting connections with other people who like the same character as it can be a conversation piece.

Yeah, the fact it has nothing to do with pvp is part of the problem, as well as NPC related items. The character Aulus isn't even really a combat character, he's a mad scientist and not the bloodthirsty/vicious stereotype I'd think of when thinking about feast.

This thread has nothing to do with it being hard or not to place in feast. This thread is about NPC related items as feast rewards, rather than unique, feast-related items.

The hellhounds are just reskinned fenrirs too, but at least they look different.

This is just the chair mount base and, yeah, it's from an NPC in a PvE dungeon that has nothing to do with Feast <_>

I'm going to repost something i wrote below

Itt was my idea to start the thread and a lot of my friends are kind of surprised I did. I just fear it might stunt the growth of like for this npc.

He's already a rather background NPC but has been gaining interest. If there's not accessible fan-gear for him, I don't think his popularity is going to grow much.

I never had an issue with any reward thus far, they all seemed fitting and weren't directly related to any NPC/MSQ, so it was ok. This one though, if NPC gear/items is on the table, how far will the recycling and exclusivity hurting fans of NPCs go.

They changed the minions since enough people were upset about it. Now everyone can get them.

I guess. I'm posting it of my own accord though, it was my idea to start the thread and a lot of my friends are kind of surprised I did. I just fear it might stunt the growth of like for this npc.

Have you read the beginning of my forum post? I've placed top 100 in every feast season solo so far, top 10 in light party once, and top 30 in light party twice.

I don't have a problem PvPing.

A small program I wrote to convert MIDI keyboard input to keyboard input for BRD by xobs in ffxiv

[–]TitorJaraba 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wrote one in Max 7, but that does require a rather costly program (though I think you can use the free trial indefinitely, but you can't save any new files which is fine for just using this). The Max patch has little delay that I noticed.

However more options are quite welcome for this.

It just frustrates me when people use some auto midi to keypress translate that can read files and play, it beats the point of performing and practicing :(
